September, 11th, 2001, a day of infamy, that affected, not only those in the USA, but worldwide
Much like those of us, who are old enough to remember when JFK was assasinated, we will all remember where/what we were doing, when the news came thorugh, from New York City

One story about that whole incident which stuck with me is the fact that Canada pitched in and let the airborne airliners at the time land there, especially in Gander, Newfoundland, where like 40 planes landed at that airport and the community opened their doors to the stranded travelers.

Canadians are great that way.

Am I right in thinking that 'THE GOVERNMENT ' won't reconiges the sacrifices made by first responders? And anyone after the event? Who are gonna tragically out number the amount of people that got murdered on that day? 😐

Yeah East coast people are great Larry
I had left the Airlines only 6 weeks prior, so was at home when it all unfolded
My buddies were working long shifts, in order to assist and move the 40 or so wde body aircraft, that wouldn't normally land at our Int'l airport
I love the States, proud, friendly people, I have genuinely, never had a bad time there
I happily spend my cash in the US, on a regular basis
Canada and the USA have a friendly rivalry, when it comes to sports, but we stand right there, with each other, when the chips are down

No way those planes brought down those buildings. Or went into the Pentagon. Or was masterminded from a cave in Afghanistan. Murder by a corrupt government.
