Matt Corr's Rome Diary - 'This is how it feels to be Celtic - Magic Moments in the Eternal City'

Great read, for once I got into Celtic park early yesterday and sat in the frozen North (stand) reading your latest exploits following Celtic ,as I was reading the part about you seeing JP11, Rod Stewart's version of Grace was being played and as the wind invariably does to me a few wee tears were spotted appearing the corner of my eyes.

Keep them coming Matt.

If that has touched you like that then you have made my day, Fifty. Thank you for this.

Matt, I used to flick through a bit of Bill Bryson's writing, mainly where he is travelling throughout Scotland. One of his talents is in taking the reader on the journey with him, especially those readers who might have experiences and knowledge of the places and people he was writing about.

There is a very similar theme apparent in your own work, but you get extra credit for being able to outline a portrait of places and people less familiar, such as in your visit to Sarajevo. It's a rare talent to be able to write with humour, pathos and empathy while not skipping a beat.

I believe you will have a willing readership when the book is available and I'm sure we will all look forward to your future work.

That is incredible feedback, SP, and so much appreciated. Thank you for this.
