Remember to vote today to have a voice

Ian Jnr is as dodgy as they come but he's probably the least dangerous member of the DUP as he's purely out for himself and is guaranteed his seat. No matter his personal corruption he's essentially uncorruptable.
Contrast him with Jeffrey Donaldson. Jeffrey achieved the lofty rank of Corporal in the British army, staffed for Enoch Powell and was appointed to the privy council. Everyone knows what they have on him but there's a superinjunction against anyone reporting it. It involves boys and what you pay to a landlord.

Look for the positives. At least Tweedledums landslide has relegated the DUP to insignificance. He doesn't need them so they become irrelevant on the political stage. The SNP vote highlights ( I hope ) the fact that young Scotland have voted for their country and its future rather than their football team. So despite the fact that we are saddled with this fuckwit hopefully his American twin gets whats coming and we as a nation can apply the brake to his excesses

This won't be popular on here but I'm not voting at all today, apologies to voters in other parts of this divided kingdom, but I'm going to act like a politician and be a selfish bastard who looks after his own interests.
I feel that a Boris victory and a large one at that, would make our Southern neighbours go all little England on us all. Although I wanted out of Europe, the people of Scotland voted to remain so I go along with that, so Scotland being dragged out of an institution they are happy to be in, would see a push for another indy ref, I just hope we don't shit it this time. The same applies to the 6 counties, let's hope that a border poll is in the post if Boris gets a landslide, plenty unionist business people may well vote for their pockets rather than old loyalties.
Once again, I apologise to the great working class people all up and down this island for wanting this horrible lying bastard of a man to win, but I see Scotland as an undemocratic Country who end up with tories ruling over us when we hardly ever vote them in.
If England give this buffoon a landslide, I wish the working class and the poor in society, all the luck in the world, because you'll need it.
I might not share all of your political allegiances, but I don't think it's unfair to say that there aren't too many of us who share conservative values (unless you happen to also be on the Celtic board).

I know that it might go against your natural instincts, but I urge everybody to use their vote to ensure that blue is wiped off of the Scottish political chart.

This might require voting for a party you may have no affiliation with, but if it means that the most dangerous man in Western Europe is unable to create a parliamentary majority - then it is a vote well cast.

I also appreciate that there is a lot of voter fatigue and political apathy. I share those feelings, but this may well be the most critical election of this generation and I urge you all to have your voice heard and vote counted today.

Good luck everyone!!!
Voting does not give you a voice. It only makes you ✖

Unfortunately Boris is in a position to deny Scotland's mandate and Trump won't be removed by impeachment as the American Senate is controlled by his party and they are as principled as the Tories. We are in an era where decency is seen as a weakness.

And as soon as the spindoctors sling their song they of little faith listen.
Oh! Do you realise when Scotland is independant you can never watch pointless, the chase, tipping point or any other British TV. You can never liszen to Jeremy Vine on radio 2. You will be cut off from all civilisation, all forms of reality tv. Scotland wil be adrift, alone, and without the union doomed, doomed DOOOOOOMED.
Or then there is always the truth. Lets hope the BBC loses the next Indy ref.

I can adjudicate on this one having spent 9 years in the USA and the rest of my life under British occupation. The result in this election is a consequence of the Americanisation of global politics and the population upon which those methods were perfected is inherently more dumb.

Independence would of been our own mini Brexit. By reasonable estimates it would of taken years to reapply and be accepted back into the EU. Did I miss that part of the paperwork?
We didn't have any sort of robust business plan in place for economic development? Nothing. Just a promise of oil that collapsed and our tipple none of which we actually own. There was a hell of a lot of spin then as well. Same thing happened with brexit, no plan and no guidance with the old money Tories waiting to gobble up cheap assets and rake in a profit.
Both parties chanced it with some major propaganda. SNP did it and the Tories did it.
Some of the numbers looked positive in Scotlands independence some of them looked rosey for brexit. You dig a bit deeper and it's a minefield. A fully funded Scottish nhs and road maintenance per person cost? A trade deal vs import taxes where as an island our biggest money maker is the London business district? It all gets a bit fuzzy.
The thing with both that has monumentally fucked me over is the after plan. No party had a fucking clue what to do as far as the next steps are concerned if they did it wasnt set up to kick in to immediately to help out the people on the ground. The SNP rode the patriotic lightning the tories rode the anti foreign steam train. Both arguments were enough to kick this all off.
Our indie accelerated their one.
We can point fingers, kick off , march and go mental to our hearts content.
These people are all politicians and they have an agenda, good in their eyes or a sneaky windfall for the etonian mates.
Whatever way any of those scenarios was to play out there was always going to be a constant.
Your food shopping bill was going up. Your fuel bill was going up. Standard of living will drop. The exchange of currency has dropped and would of either way.
I'm sorry but this crazy trip we have all been dragged along has made every one of us (or most) worse off day to day.
If your a smart chap and can create a bit on the side and use it to your advantage fair play. There are many a poor sod that dont have the know how.

I'm away to perfect my new recipe for loch long heather infused boot polish. Next I have wild grouse tinned wasabi flavoured game that I plan to sell to japan. I'm waiting for my distillery kit to arrive from amazon so I can brew some organic Scottish crab apple calvados brandy...
Never keep a good man down and all that

That was possibly a wee bit flippant,Scottish independence was generally viewed as aspirational, however, the clusterphuq that is brexit, in my humble opinion, mean's Scottish independence, for better or worse, seem's to me, to be inevitable.
If the u.k had voted to remain,we would all have happily just got on with it,but the engerlish leave vote was a gamechanger,we're almost obliged to go it alone,as engerlund has voted for engerlish nationalism,
so, by default, the Scottish independence genie is oot the bottle!
Balloted members of the tory membership are quite prepared to ditch the union, to get brexit done! so, for better or worse, the choice has almost been made for us🍺

300 years of the so called Union. Our children are still the most poverty stricken in the whole of the European union. And some daft cunts are still voting for this shit. So they can fly the Butcher's Apron. Fuck me gently mate. The ignorance and mentality of these morons bid what keeps these upper class Etonian fan dancers in power. Fucking mining communities voting Tory. Losing the will to live mate.
