Winning 9 IAR

As we approach the business end of the season it's beginning to look like "Business as Usual" with regards to the destination of the League Championship

With us having 12 remaining games to play we require to win 10 of them to be crowned Champions That's the scenario if we lose twice to the HUNS in the next 2 League Derbies That's providing the HUNS win ALL. Of their 13 remaining League matches

If we beat the HUNS in either of the next 2 League Derbies we only need to win 9 more matches and if we beat them in both we only need to win 8

Draws open up slightly different scenarios however with our goal difference standing at +18 over our latest bitter rivals albeit they have a game in hand should the current goal scoring trends continue that should be worth another 1 point to us should the upstarts start closing the points gap

With Livingston heading to IBROKES on Saturday and us heading up to the Sheep's Meadow on Sunday the points difference could be temporarily reduced to 7 points

Should the misfiring HUNS record anything less than a victory on Saturday and we beat the Sheep the following day as I fully expect us to do then I think that 9 IAR will be guaranteed and Paddy Power will probably pay out on Celtic winning the League

So WORST case scenario .... if we can win maximum 10 out of our 12 remaining League matches and our next 3 Scottish Cup ties (barring any required replays) the QUADRUPLE TREBLE will have been accomplished Indeed it may well be done and dusted before the League Season ends because of the early Scottish Cup Final this year due to Hampden being used for EURO 2020 (whether Scotland take part in the tournament or not)

Almost 1 year on from the feelings of angst and betrayal felt by the clandestine departure of Brendan Rodgers at the end of February 2019 Lenny and the Bhoys have gotten themselves into a very good position and we haven't even broached the topic of EUROPA LEAGUE yet

It's going to be an interseting and hopefully highly enjoyable next 3 and a bit months 5 if you include the EUROS

That's a cracking post πŸ‘
Another treble would be amazing but I have to admit that I am a bit more focused on the league at the moment. My thinking is that there are four league games to be played between now and the next Glasgow derby.

If we can avoid dropping silly points between now and then and beat them at ibrokes, the league is over regardless of their results between now and then. Hopefully we will still do well in the other competitions but as I say it is all about us doing the nine this year for me ☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘

Thanks for that information. If we win our next nine league games then we are champions. It’s that simple.

The Scottish cup could be in our hands before the season finishes, we could be treble winners before the season finishes, thats got to be something to aim for, keep winning and keep the lead healthy.
the SC Final is on 9 May 2020, 2 weeks before the season ends.

Don't think it will be permanently 10 as there are still plenty of opportunities for the HUNS to to throw away more points
