Let's Give Klimala and Soro a chance before casting judgement...latest from Niall

Worth keeping in mind the difficulties to be overcome, as witnessed before.

The 19-year-old Bulgarian touched down in Glasgow, alien to the new ... own fierce array of skills, matured into one of the best players in the country.

I think this is the problem when new players come in in January, no meaningless pre-season games to give them a decent run out and let them settle into the team, every game is important at this stage. Having Eddy and Griff scoring for fun will make it hard for Paddy to get much game time, you could say its horses for courses, but as you say they've neigh been here furlong and they just have to get the bit between their teeth and jockey for position, who knows they might go on to be mane men....

Sorry

It was because of Stan that Celtic woke up to the loneliness a young foreign player feels and i feel became more inclusive as a family for them.

Very true!

I think the case of those two is that we are currently in the midst over locking down progress in europe and it is the business end of one of the most important league seasons in our history...These two fellas play in positions which are already competitive and its unfortunate for them that none of the players in front of them are out of form or misfiring...When Lustig was signed in the january window, he hardly played a match between when he was signed and the end of that season...look at the career he had for us.....As the article states, let the guys settle into their surroundings, they both were signed from provincial teams playing in relatively low pressure environments! ease them in and if we win the league early, give them a run of games when the pressure is off..After id say 10-15 games, then and only then can they be judged

wiz that straight fae the horses mouth Hoopy?

Late january signings who missed Dubia training sessions , Lenny will let them settle in first what you me and guys writing blogs don't see is behind the scenes so can't be to judgemental

iI takes a while to settle in another country, then they have to hit the ground running because supportters expect it or doubts are cast

one big problem we have is were on a winning streak and have been for years in a year when were going for 9 ,so there won't be a lot of changes while we already have a team of winners who know what it means toget this over the line they mayhave a few sub apearances but for most they will be integrated in the development squad

No one doubted Stan. What we doubted was playing him at fucking left back.

Klimala is not the finished article by a long shot and doesn't look anywhere near the class we will need if Eddy leaves in the summer. We wish him well but expecting a young guy at £3m to fill his boots is too much to ask.

As for Soro I don't think anybody doesn't have high hopes for this lad as he looks the real deal. I expect Soro to shine and hope Pat does too. I have more confidence that Soro will make us better. And more hope than anything else for Pat.

Everyone doubted Stan, no-one knew his story, he was on a 5 a day burger diet and coke and could not speak English he learned English in a burger van. His book is an interesting read, You can call me Stan, the guy doubted his own ability due to the lonely constraints suffered.

He was all we could affored very raw and signed as a utility player ,if social media had been alive back then he would have been onto a hiding to nothing only the word of KK got that deal done

Well if you looked at his form playing before he came you knew he was a player. Sorting himself out made him reach his potential but if you couldn't see he had it, you were watching a different player than I was.

The difference to me is Pat never looked as talented in his clips. Soro did, but like Bayo Pat so far doesn't look like a too class striker. He will be better than Bayo I'm sure, but is better than Bayo going to keep us moving up levels? I don't think so either. I hope to be able to say in the future I got a that so wrong, nothing would make me happier. Its up to Pat to settle then do the business.
