Season over 15th March

The Sevco game is 15th March - I have a feeling that due to the virus this could be our last game ( at least to a paying crowd) of the season.
I am not scarmongering just anlaysing the facts and the kicker today was a talk with a workmate who is in local emergency planning and they are very concerned - the policy is going to be to try to contain the virus as far as possible to the early summer - they realise it cant be stopped but containing it to summer gives the NHS some breathing room to get the winter flu season dealt with - this then frees up beds for the virus.

Boris is live on the BBC now and he is saying this virus is going to be a big challange in the next weeks and months. I would say we are days away from playing games behind closed doors and a few weeks away from cancelling matches completly.

Here's some food for thought, oj17.......

No matter how much the media are highlighting how devastating the coronavirus may be, put yourself in the shoes of the billions upon billions of they wee bacterial bastards!!!!

The wee germy bastards are bricking it in case they get a doze of hunnitis.......

Nae self-respecting germ would go near they fuckers, so the best vaccine to immunise yourself is to hug a hun.

if the government want to get serious about this vrus they would stop flights , it's a pointless exercise stopping attendance at football matches and rock concert but still allow folk to fly in and out the country

I do think it will go to behind closed doors in england , in Scotland i think sevco need the money so the SFA will throw everyone under a bus to help them

Tell all the fenians you know
weve got a virus you've no
you might think youre fine
we will fuck up yer nine and
will kill yous to stop ten in a row

Tell all the huns you knew
that the virus is merely a flu
14 days you'll be fine
and then its the nine
and you'll no stop ten in a row

So oj17 what you are saying is that if we are not over the line mathematically this season will be all for nothing except the League Cup..
I am not saying mate that this is what YOU are saying it is only my opinion, but we all know the SFA ,,SPFL,, would jump at the chance to shut the season down to stop 9 iar,,but what I think we have in our favour is believe it or not,,,sevco,,,without the gate money and any other revenue they generate,,they are gone,,so this would take us back to the SFA and the SPFL,,are they in a position to subsidise every team in Scotland ???.
Without TV money I believe Scottish Football would be in serious trouble..

HH.

Here's my guess how it will play out they will go to behnd close doors games after the split sevco will be given 3homes and 2 aways , the league will be called of with only the last 2 games remaining thus making the season of the 9 void and 9 in a row gone ,,,,i wouldn't put it past them

While games are behind closed doors massive weekend shopping people are still in asda and tescos and stores all spreading the bug.

Nobody says the government policy is the be all in end all - stopping people going to get essentials at a local shop to live - non starter. Stopping 50K people coming from all over Scotland, England and Ireland to a ' non essential' sporting event - definately cancelled
