Axed till August Fear, a Solution - 14 team, 39 games league, no split and Glasgow Cup Final

Man city could pip Liverpool if Liverpool lost all remaining fixures so as we deal in hypotheticals Liverpool cannot be champions if Celtic are not champions quite simple, Man City are still in race.

27 points to play for Man city are on 57 and could go 84 Liverpool to lose all games would remain on 82.
So Alex Rae is liverpool champions.

Today's decision to postpone football matches has thrown our leagues into chaos

Lenny stated that if the League was not to resume then it should be awarded to Celtic and the HUNS are going nuts claiming it is still mathematically possible for them to overtake us no matter how unlikely that is

If the eague's do not resume the answer is simple

Takes Clubs' total points divide them by games they have already played and multiply X 38

Not a perfect outcome but pretty fair considering it takes into account Club's performances since the beginning of the season Average Goal Difference can also be used if necessary

Reverting back to how POOLS PANELS would operate entering fictitious results to determine the outcomes of games may also be an option however that relays too much on someone's opinion whereas average points from already played matches uses Form and statistics

No doubt not everyone will be happy about whatever outcome this would throw up but voiding the entire season would be nonsensical How would they decide who plays in Champions League / Europa League or whatever next season ?

However its calculated we win it's really about the euro spots(euro spots isnt a symptom of COVID 19) and relegation. Seen on football focus that Chile is the only standard to compare to. They apparently froze it and the leaders were awarded the title ( I missed the bit on whether it's related to this) but at least there is a precedent

If they did there is nothing in the season books that null and voids the season ticket purchase, therefore you claim back your money as the contract is not fufilled and cannot be ammneded on the hoof. You bought on the basis that once you bought it the only discreatios would be should you fail to fufill your part in the contract ie vadalism, racism etc and besides Celtic have given until May 1 st to renew, so all the talk just now is media cramming shite into programmes with no games.
The last time the league was null and void there were no European tournaments to play in the following season. This time things must be decided so you know what clubs are playing in Europe next season....if there are European tournaments next season.

Last night our darts league was talking about cancelling for the season (runs till June). It was decided to keep playing for now, and at the game folk were chatting about how it should all be sorted out etc. if it stopped, like with the football. One of my pals said about starting next season later, adding the remaining fixtures to the start, like a comment above for the football. I said that in a new season, players will move, teams move pub, new teams, folded teams etc. Similar to that, say we had signed Ronaldo on loan for the season, thinking that we invested in him to win us the treble, and to this point it was working. If they extend the season, there’s no way to say his club will extend the loan. Or say we had players playing that were out of contract at the end of the season and therefor our team would be different. I know it can happen during the windows that teams could change, but I think it would be a nightmare to overcome contract wise to extend beyond the current end date, given that you could be penalised on the pitch by not having that season’s team any more. What if say Man Utd came in and bought eddy while the end of the season was still to be played? That’s why I think an extension won’t happen. If the season restarts at all, I think they’ll play what fixtures are left and try and squeeze in any outstanding before original end dates. The split in the league is a hurdle to sort. I think they might just try and fulfill the fixtures up to the split, everyone’s played each other 3 times equally, and allow sevco to get their game in hand done. And whether that happens or not, I think winners/relegations will be decided as it stands. Would be hilarious if sevco miss out on their chance to play us and any hope of catching up 6 points directly. (Yeah I know!).

At least it’s given them a bit of a bail out to their fans to say why they had to go in to admin

The scientists think the virus hasn't peaked and it will be early may when it does

what folk in the media are not taking into account is the infection rate and recovery period that is unknown just now
Then you have the problem of folk becoming infected at a later dates than others so the virus goes round and round

There's no way they can make plans as to when the league will restart ,were in the unknown and it's world wide ,so all these clown shoes in the press shouting for the league to be played out well into june/july need to wake up
the players are human not robots

The leagues over we won

.......................

Yep!

And if that happens.....they’ll also say that as this league was/is null and void.....everything pertaining to winning league titles in a row will be reset to zero.....bet on it
They already spoke about that 3 days ago

The Herald is holding a poll that has clearly been hijacked by zombies:

Can you see the bookmakers giving back all the bets that have been placed on cup wins and titles, bookmakers make more due to losers than what they pay out to winners.

The huns have not worked it out they are not automatic placed second or third if Celtic is not placed first, and the titile is anandoned thus when the European places come round and prize money for SPFL places, then Motherwell and Aberdeen could claim that its possible they could have been second and third, good for the goose etc.

1 Celtic307080
2Rangers294567
3Motherwell30346
4Aberdeen30445

Neither Motherwell or Aberdeen could eclipse Celtic who have 80 points if both were to win all games and Celtic lose all games and if the same logic is applied to Sevco the scanario is different, if Sevco theoretacly lost all games same as Celtic, Motherwell and Aberdeen if they won all thiers could pip Sevco but could not pip Celtic.

27 points to be played for and above logic applied Motherwells 73 points would eclipse second placed Sevco and Aberdeen third as they would go 72.
Celtic and the new Huns can’t lose all of there games left because they have to play each other twice. Don’t know how many times Aberdeen have to play Motherwell but it’s at least once so both of them can’t win all there remaining games

If the worst came to the worst, all the rest of the league games could be settled at Hampden on one day. All the teams could turn up and isolate themselves around the ground (sitting area). Then each scheduled match is decided on penalty kicks. 5 penalties each, if its a draw its a draw. The whole event could be televised. Not the best solution, but a solution all the same! And it would be exciting too.

That sounds mental but brilliant. I'd fancy The Wall to save about 25 penalties.
