Special Moments in your life

What have we learned through this current Covid19 crisis ?
Many of us already knew what our priorities were
Community spirit, is coming back into vogue, as we realize, we are all in this together
Family has always come first for many of us and it is with that in mind, I am posting a 'Special Moment' that I treasure
This, is my 3 1/2 year old Granddaughter, and her Papa, at the park last year, feeding the ducks
When they rushed over towards us, she went behind me, grabbing my leg, so I picked her up, she looked at me, then said "I love you Papa"
Lilaiana Papa LOVE YOU .jpg
Anyone else, care to share a special moment

Being a 24-carat dipshit means that my whole life is a catalogue of 'speshull' moments as opposed to genuinely affecting special moments.

I'll never forget the first lampie I walked into. It still holds a speshull place in my heart.

I envy those of you who are blessed with children and grandchildren. You don't need me to tell you to never take them for granted and that my thoughts are with all of your families at this difficult time.

Sneaking my son into Paradise when he was just under 3 year old, babysitting and hand my ST over to someone, or smuggle the young fella in and get to the game, the look on his face when he got into the ground will stay with me forever. Got away with it for about a season, used to just sit on my knee, was spotted by stewards a couple of times coming thru the turnstiles wi the wee man shuffling through at my feet and they turned a blind eye, wee thanks a lot mate as I passed them by, no problem was the reply. 👍🍀

"................never take them for granted" Maybe when they are older they should be told not to take us for granted, Taxi driver, nurse social worker, porter, employment advisor, ATM machine, dish washer, laundrette assistant, cleaner, hotel manager and teacher.
