Summer Transfer Window Thread Now Open...

In the SPFL, it's a case of 'horses for courses'
Some games, you need guys who can roll up the sleeves and get stuck in against some teams who's aim is, to stop us playing the flowing football we're known for
Big Cosgrove, in my humble opinion, would be able to handle the rough and tumble and would give us another option for two up front, with Eddie and Griff
As I said, my opinion, if you disagree, fair enough but please be respectful
A no nonsense centre half is also a must, one with experience, no doubt, we'll be linked with loads of players, most of which will never come to fruition, or is just out and out, click bait BS

Totally agree about the centre half,2 if we sell ajer, for me we need 3 specialists in that position backed up by bitton and hatem

Awrite Dil how's tricks, hope your safe across the pond mate.

As for Cosgrove I'm of the opinion that he wouldn't get away with half the stuff he does in the rough and tumble play if he was wearing the Green, I know Neil likes to mix it up and sometimes go long but I think Cosgroves style doesn't suit us, hopefully Eddie stays for 10 and Leigh gets a good run in the team along with him, Bayo well at best would be a bit part player but I have hope that Patrick has settled into the squad now and we will see him at his best this season.

H.H mate.
Wouldn't touch Cosgrove he's a talentless cart horse reminds me of Ciftci

Hickey and Souttar could be available at knock down prices.
Can honestly say every time I've seen Hickey he's looked well out of his depth. No positional sense whatsoever,.wouldn't go near either of them tbh.souttar, never aff the treatment table for one that young and no better than the likes of hendry who we've just got shot of.we should only be signing guys who are capable of going straight into the team imo,we've plenty of projects and good youth coming through without signing the kind of dross that's kept the mini huns at the bottom of the league all season. Hh

Souttar was fuckin class for me in FIFA 14 though :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I would like to see filip Benkovic back, he knows the place and the league, and if our Viking leaves defo another CB as well as Big Fil.

And welcome Dhaviebhoy.

Thought he looked good, really good in fact. He will cost money or be used as a bargaining chip if Leicester come knocking on the door for Ajer.
The one thing I'm concerned about is Ben has spent equal if not more minutes on the treatment table as SIM.
The final clean up op SIM had in his knee clearly hasn't been a success. My thinking is even if we did resign he could fail a medical going somewhere else.
The strategy could be use his wages towards a physically healthier player.

Guessing his values dropped a bit not sure he's had too many games down there then the lay off ,he may be just within our reach but i don't think Lenny will go for him

I hope that this close season we actually do our business early so the new players are up to speed with their colleagues having trained with them. This will give us our best chance in Europe and hopefully make sure we get off to a flier in this most important league season.

I know there is a lot of uncertainty in the sport at the moment but let's hope we don't wait until the last few days before getting new players in.

Don't forget Lee O Connor can play across the back. Hope we see a lot of him this year; he didn't leave Man U to play reserve football
Completely forgot about him. Great shout!
Don't think he has the muscle to hold his own against a big CF but LB/RB definitely. Looks to be able to play a bit. Not seen much from the clips of him whipping in crosses but his passing looks good as well. Not many wingers would want to play against a lad that can tackle like that

Souttar is shite big Lustig split him and his partner Berra wide open in the Scottish cup with a header from his own half to put big Eddie in and none could catch a man playing off the shoulder of two centre backs, he is injury prone hence Hearts demise.

That wiz some heider fae big Mika,he knew exactly what he was doing and some run fae Eddy, stunning ☘ 🍺🥳

Not so bad 50, how's yourself ?
You could be right, but as you know, Celtic is not a on dimensional team and I believe, given the opportunities on a great Celtic team, with the players alongside him, he'd grab some goals, against any opposition
As you said, the MIB's, would most likely, have the cards handy against him, depending on how the munkys are doing across the city
Stay safe my friend
We'll get this done and celebrate the 10, in spite of how many deadbeat, former 'stars' they trot out in the media
