Best name I ever heard him called,not wispy our wullie,I heard this at a game can't remember which one but this has stuck ( The Wallace will sort them out) those first two words are so suited to the man and thanks again for the memories Matt

Enjoyed reading all that. Every time I read or hear something about the Lions..I'm always amazed how humble they are/were. Love reading about them though.
Over a hundred goals in his first 3 seasons is some going.

Willie seems to be one those greats who shuffled along in the background not seeking the limelight just enjoyed playing the game and playing for the team , yet another brilliant player to ever wear the hoops
