The Celtic Cars – First Team Stars, ahead of momentous Ten-in-a Row journey, reveal first and current cars

There was 5mks of cortina you all need to be a bit more specific, a red wan isnae gonna cut it🤣😜
Second car I had was a sky blue '72 Ford Cortina GT 4- speed, manual transmission
Two weeks after I bought it, driving home the entire gear shift came out of it's socket, car was stuck in second gear and I could see the road where the socket used to fit
Had it towed to the dealership and called the guy who sold it to me
His reply "Don't bother me with this, you bought it and we've cashed the cheque"
I told him I'd paint a big fucking lemon on the doors and leave it outside his shop
Little did he know that a friend of mine, was married to the Vice President of Ford Canada
I told her and she called him at his office, he called her back and said "Tell your friend to go into the dealership, they'll give him a brand new loaner and they'll call him when his car's fixed, no charge"
"Oh and you can also tell him, that the guy who sold it to him, and was a prick, is no longer employed there...any problems let me know"
RE - SULT !!!
sold it a few years later but the satisfaction of getting it fixed and that sales guy getting his balls kicked was bee-yoo-ti-ful
Car was a POS to be honest72 Coetina .jpg

mk1 capri 16gt
bought it in Edinburgh in the dark , fast ,sleek and in the day light looked like shite but the burds loved it

Went on fire on the jamaica street bridge after going over a pot hole my dodgy wiring job on the radio may have played a part in affecting the enviroment ,feckin cheap fire exinguisher didn't work either

Loved this little 1990 Miata, I bought it for my wife to teach her to drive 5 speed, but I ended up driving it most of the time
Found out the hard way, that airbags were not introduced on the Miata, until 1993
Wrote it off after an accident, ended up in hospital, but it all worked out, in the end
Great little cars though
