I'm worried too but I keep reassuring myself that we're just getting his replacement in this season so that when Eddy leaves next year we won't be left high and dry. That's the strategy we've been calling for in recent years. Maybe the club have learnt something. Or maybe the board are still just a bunch of clawing charlatans.

Not as a replacement for Edouard. That would be embarrassing.

Been speaking to a City fan who watches the academy players. He says hes really good but recently couldnt buy a goal. In the right environment I think he could be a great acquisition and if the buy clause isnt too high would definitely have a punt on him. Weve done well with players from City.

The now all I’m hearing is Celtic raking in the money. The now, we seem to have the board back that was there before Fergus. We don’t need to go over the top for players but the now, Peter Lawwell keeps on saying we’re a champions league team. Well we have to behave like one and pay a wee bit more than what we’re doing. 52,000+ season ticket holders, who can’t even get into a game. And the board are too busy counting their money before they’ll buy anyone.

He's Steven Fletcher, not Lionel Messi
He'd be coming in as a bit part player, when needed
He's experienced in Scotland and England, and I'd give him a shot
Mind you, depending on what stories you read this morning, he's not coming in, and the one year deal is dead
Also depending on 'sources' the deal for Aljeti, is dead...or stalled...or moonbeams...or unicorns...guy's agent is fucking around, it would seem
Pay the money and get Toney in, if he's that good
