Gullabillies shafted by Castore 🤣

The sportswear brand have struck a £25million multi-year deal with Scottish giants Rangers

'We want to treat them as the marquee clubs that they are. We’ll probably do one LaLiga team, we’ll do one Serie A team and then we’ll do two Premier League teams in the next 12, 24 months.'

Nike and adidas already hold something of a monopoly on the top clubs in the Premier League, with the pair holding the shirts rights to four of the traditional Big Six.

Even beyond that, adidas are suppliers for Leicester, Wolves and Sheffield United - three of the teams vying for European places.

Despite the apparent stanglehold however, Tom believes there is nothing to prevent Castore from sitting down at the top of the table from the outset.

'It’s exactly the same as the logic we applied to Rangers,' he said. 'We want clubs that have an ambition to win trophies, to compete domestically and at European level.

'The Premier League in particular is incredibly competitive. There are only about eight clubs who would be competing for those top four places.

  • castore want to position themselves as a genuine global challenger to Nike and Adidas

'Our ambition is to compete head to head with Nike and adidas. Our view is that unless you are Real Madrid or Barcelona, Nike and adidas do not treat these clubs in the way that they deserve to be treated.

I’ve just been asked a few questions were they Trump like questions like had big words in them re what has been described to me as #Castoregate...first it was asked now it was described ..can anyone answer them or suggest what might be happening?

 it appears the folk who asked you werent getting through to you so they had to describe stuff to you and then thought ,,,oh fk this for a game o soldjers and hung up :ROFLMAO:

The 2 initial owners are now not the owners so there’s no chance of them being held liable for any potential indiscretions - is this right?
Why, what or who induced them to resign?
Do they still retain a hidden stake in the company? If so, why did they resign? If not why not?
Who has a stake in the company? Is there any conflict(s) of interest at play?
The infrastructure was never there to supply 10’s of thousands of tops, etc on a timely basis.....so was it hugely misleading and potentially unlawful to suggest that it was and take monies under potentially false pretences?
The money was collected well in advance of a nominated supply date and deposited where? And where is it now and who has control over it?
Who is going to foot the bill for the copious amount of tops, etc that are being returned? Who is accountable for this?
Why are the owner(s) not declaring who they are?
What regulatory body looks after the interests of the thousands of dissatisfied buyers and what questions might they be asking re this debacle?
And if everything goes pear shaped who is accountable?

So many questions...anyone?

 feck that man lifes to short

Gut feeling tells me Old Dave King is behind the milking of the gullibles with Castore. He knows his pigeons and wont like anyone else taking their money when its so easy for him.

.

This for me shows the whole thing was bollox from day 1
You don't borrow £7.5 million to "expand" then sign a deal for £25 million the next week.
They said the other week they had already paid £3 million to Rangers just off the back of pre orders.
Plus Big Mike is reportedly taking a cut.
If they have to replace all that kit that's already been despatched and reading Follow Follow then it would appear they will then that's their £7million just about gone.
Plus the untold damage to their reputation.
The statement is something else "aw sorry we meant to sell you the Turkish tat for £65 quid and the Chinese stuff with a different label for £100.
Unfotunetly some of you got the good stuff for £60"

The Klan finding out not all Scousers deliver League winning teams or match winning kit.
