🍀 🍀 🍀 Neil Lennon knew that "fiesty" was the understatement of the season to date. Dallas and his linesmen sanctioned barely disguised thuggery on Sunday and we are all aware of that but my wee disappointment is that many of us across the forums seem to be blaming the teams performance rather than the refs use of the rules to break the flow of Celtics play at every opportunity. There is one pic on one of the stories on CNN of Connolly hauling Eddie's shirt nearly off his back with Dallas watching. Three blatant yellows in the first half alone. Calmac, who statistically must be one of the cleanest pro's in the SPL booked and rendered less effective for a fifty fifty early in the game and despite all of these deliberate obstacles we dominated the game . I think Celtic had a great game in overcoming these disgracefully unfair obstructions but must learn two things very quickly. Don't sit on your arse appealing to the ref even if you are blatantly fouled get up and face the play immediately to minimise the oppositions advantage and two when your in the box don't touch the ball to your stronger side just f*cking hit it left foot, right foot, knee, chest or whatever, even a trundler hit instantly has a better chance of hitting the net. Love the 'Tic

Result - great. Performance - so-so. Referee - shit. Fans right to reply - definitely.

Wanting the team to be easy-on-the-eye and free-flowing isn't a bad thing and we're also aware that there are other exigent circumstances for the standard of performance, but we're all just a bit nervous CU and probably just reacting to that.

I agree that, under the circumstances, the end result was great, but we're going to have to find ways to circumnavigate poor refereeing and GBH because it's pretty much going to be the recurring theme of the season.

I thought we were shit to be honest but fair play to Dundee Utd for coming out and having ago.
We were slow in our play and passing but i think Utd made it harder for us they were well organized and stuck to there game plan similar to the way livi played against us last year

as for cuntlugs ,,,,unless the club starts to outright call the refs out then nothing is gonna happen like all the years before

I think it's going to take a clusterfuck of Beaton proportions to rouse the board, Kelly, and even then I'm not entirely convinced they would!

I've been banging o about not getting shots off early enough since the snake started aw this trying to walk the ball into the net shit. Luckily moussa was there to get on the end of enough chances for us .Hopefully Griffiths gets his act together pronto as he's the only striker we've got that'll have a pop at first sight and 9 outa ten he'll hit the target. Eddy just wants too long on the ball sometimes for my liking. Hopefully ajeti brings some of what griff brings to the table but juries still out on klimala.HH

Got to feel for Eddy, because I still don't believe that being the spearhead is his natural position. I don't see him as an out-and-out wide man, but I think he prefers to play on the left and work his way in towards goal. I agree 100%, TT.......being a striker is all about instinct and backing yourself. If you're not going to score then at least make the keeper or defence do some work.

I still believe Eddie can play as a spearhead as he has done it in the past to great success before...teams are now doubling and trebling up on him as soon as the ball comes to him...it's up to us as a team to utilize the space the Eddie man marking is opening up for others .....we need to be smarter

I agree, Docco, when he gets the opportunity to play that role without MI5, MI6 and Interpol up his arse, then he can do it brilliantly as he is an excellent footballer. In a perfect world though, I think his own preference would be to start left and drift in.
