Seems Fraser has been told after rejecting us to stake a place at st Mary’s that he is free to find a loan club again as a Celtic supporter I would take him back in a heartbeat even tho we Signed barkas i would still have Fraser as number 1 his performance in the cup final and lazio and various other games has shown us as supporters what he has to offer we haven’t seen much of barkas as he doesn’t have much to do domestically but I would prefer Fraser all day long and if the chance comes to have him back then I would Take him what do you guys think

Haven't really seen enough of Barkas to form an opinion but wouldn't it be great to have big FF beck between the sticks. I have a feeling though that after knocking us back before, he'll be looking at somewhere else in the EPL even if it means sitting on the bench.

Yeah no doubt mate and I’m of the same opinion on barkas and will stick bye him as he is our keeper now and needs full support but he was always neils second choice after Fraser And I think if Neil has the chance to get FF back he would at least try

My personal number 1 transfer target was Forster, but mucked us about (well, was looking after his own interests, which is fair enough) and we had to move onto someone else.

Good luck to the big fella - he will always be a hero - but he missed the chance to be with us this time round.

I've been impressed with Barkas so far - except for the 2nd goal versus the Hungarians. I'm happy to give him the gloves this season.

The wa probably didn't fancy coming back i don't see the folk at st marys mucking about with him telling him he had a chance to now say he's free to go out on loan

Thanks for the memories big fella as for the greek waiter jury is out on him just now ,,,,,,,,i don't think he's better or near what foster was

Naw he fucked it, he wanted the dosh more than the club so for me it's we move with the new guy and Scott Bain.

It's a no from me
The Wall had his chance and turned us down
Had we kept him I doubt we would have seen big Duffy signing
We'd have cracked on with a dodgy defence hoping he would have stopped everything that gets through.
Give the Greek lad a chance and with an improved defence we should win the 10 any way.

Lennon won't have the balls to ask the board to go back in for Forster. He knows he's lucky to be manager again. So after the failed attempts to bring back Forster for another season, he'll just be grateful they at least tried and were nice enough to allow him to sign another keeper.

Must admit I am a bit torn on this one. The wall has always been a great servant and a huge presence for us in goals. His performance in the final last season and some of the saves in Europe made him legionary. So was surprised no shocked that he turned down the chance to be with us this season instead looking for the security of a better contract. This season especially and beyond we need the security of a number 1. Our Greek may be to early to make comparisons just yet but looks quicker off his line, far more comfortable with the ball at his feet with better distribution. Handling fairly assured and also looks comfortable under the high ball, plus got him for the long haul.
So thanks for the memories big man and wish him all the best for the future and will always hold a special place in our hearts but also happy enough with our replacement and wish barkas well. So barkas for me just hope he don't turn out to be a Greek tragedy

Lenny signed him 3 times, he was offered another season.he said naw, so phuq him, we move on! 🍺 🥳
The 1st time we got him on loan, MD, Lenny had the nutts to demand we go all out to sign him permanent. He's since been neutered by Lawwell. If he says we done all we could to bring him back, Lennon will simply accept that and move on. No questions asked.

He said no for a return for good reason, I believe, but all the BS aside, we could be doing with him back. Ginger baws should grow a pair and demand we go back in for him. Highly doubt it though.

Cannnot fault the lad in his job, was fantastic for us last season. However, we wern,'t good enough for a second go from him, so he's not he can think about it with skelfs in his bench warmer.

So we should pay Southampton £10million and forster £70-90 grand a week? Fader, if he wanted to stay,he would've stayed,he didnae want to stay for whatever reason,so we move on ,we spent £5mill on an international keeper, southamptons demands were out of order for a third choice goalkeeper, oh, and 'ginger baws'? tad disrespectful?

I'm sure we could get him for less than that, and he would take a wage cut. His wages and Southamptons asking price wasn't the issue. He felt he done enough with us to fight his way back into contention for a 1st team place at Southampton - that was his reasons - I can respect that. Now he knows that's not gonny happen, we should pursue it.

And as for being disrespectful, I suppose you're right. I don't have much respect for Lennon because he's became a Yes Man.

Downsizing will become more likely with him in the job. If the board decide tomorrow to sell Eddy, Ntcham, McGregor and Lennons own Granny, I very much doubt he'll stand in the way.
