Ross County v Celtic - Saturday 12 September, Kick-off 3pm. (live on Ross County PPV) - all comments here

Ross county did themselves no favours letting in the small crowd , they all looked like they'd just left the library or the dominoes ,like a gathering of the highland losers league and they were the winners in the ballot

A match today from us that involved the good, the bad and the ugly
The good
5 goals away from home with 5 different goalscorers
Barkas proving his doubthers
Duffy need i say no more and to cap it off with the first of what should become his trademark goal for us
Ajeti looks lethal with a sight of goal and still more to come
Polish paddy after missing a sitter still showed great composar for his goal was delighted for him and looks like he has a great attitude
Ajer starting to become a mence in oppersition area
5 subs eventually used

The bad
Ajer would prefer to see his defending inprove more so than his forward play
Ntcham still can't work out his best role in the team or if he really wants to stay or go
Still taking far to long to really get into our stride in game
Defence still to open but sure that will improve and think Jules and duffs will switch

The ugly
This left hand side needs to get sorted out as a matter of urgency as forest is not the solution to the problem
Ely to me dose not really look suited for Scottish football as we only see what he can do on a European night
Subs turnbull and soro could have came on far sooner but was nice to see the little bit we did see would have liked more in a game already won
Overall
A very pleasing result and usually a 5nil would surgest a great performance for which it wasn't but I like that early season to iron out a few areas that need work on highlighting problems that need sorting, with still so much left in the tank. Still believe we are yet to see our strongest 11 start and when we are up to full throttle we won't be stopped

Been stop start this season John,we're two games short, thanks to the prick bolingoli, then an international break, new goalie, new centre half, change of shape,it'll come good, but agree the left side needs sorted, Ajer is not a left sided centre back, although he plays there for Norway, so what the phuq do ah know!,we need cover for Taylor,he's our only left footed footed defender! apart fae that............ 🍺 🥳

Signs are good with the best of us yet to come

5-0 and yet some have complaints. 16 players got some time and 5 different scorers. We will be top of the league by November. Always look on the bright side of life.
Arbroath beat Shotts Bon Accord 36-0 in a Scottish cup tie, the Arbroath players complained about the time it took for Shotts to retrieve the ball after they scored, there were no nets! how many goals did they want!!!!!

Before that I hope with a win at home against the scum will give us the advantage and will not be caught. Only want us to be totally ready for it and even now we are good enough for beating them some improvements are needed to give them shit the hiding they deserve

Only saw parts of the game but to be honest for a first game with new and old players the mix not perfect but the 5goals taken with ease, things will definitely improve as players settle,we have strength in depth so are well prepared for the ten, when you look at our subs bench yesterday along with with Big Duff on the field you can see how strong we are.some of the players have just joined and will take time to fit into team but 5-0 not to be scoffed at HH

Another day, another win.

5-0 away from home is never to be sniffed at, but we also can't ignore one or two things lurking in the background.

Jullien still had a few shaky moments for me. Hopefully, Duffy will sort that out over the coming weeks and months because, for me, CJ ain't no leader.

Despite his size, he is not an imposing figure at the back, whereas Duffy is. You only have to look at the way he cleaned Jullien out when he headed home his debut goal to realise he's going to be a reliable sort all over the pitch.

I'll forgive Duffy his momentary lapse at the back as this is only his third match since January. Can't wait to see him fully up to speed.

The disappointing thing about the game for me yesterday was Lennon's refusal to give more time to Turnbull and Soro. The match was over as a contest at half-time and they could've definitely done with some more minutes on the pitch. I would hate to see a talent like Turnbull go the same way as some of the other young Scots we've had over the years.

Thought Jamesy looked a bit out of sorts yesterday as well. Lennon obviously wanted Frimpong on the pitch which meant that Elyounoussi made way on the left for JF.

For me, Forrest either plays on the right or not at all. Elyounoussi is the only guy for the left-hand side of the attack at present. He has won me over completely with his performances this season and shoehorning JF into the team on the left at his expense will cost us dearly at some point if NL carries on with this particular tactic.

All in all, a very satisfying 3pts and it's on to another away game at St Mirren on Wednesday which will mean that we've played only two home games from our first six matches.

I was gutted to hear that Sevco has already picked up the first trophy of the season although I must admit I hadn't even heard of the Clean Sheet Cup until I read about it in the media.

I wouldn't share your optimism about Ely at the moment as I can agree he is our best option on the left at the moment but can't see him as the solution for the left if we go with a 3 at the back, seems more suited for a 4 at the back. Think he may have a bigger role to play on a European night as that seems to be when he comes alive more so than in the SPFL. Still will have an important part to play as he is a very good technical player that has the ability to unlock a tight and stubborn defence and would be a great asset to have from the bench not to sure if he likes the physical side of the game and wouldn't trust him to do the dirty side of the game in the tracking back if we went with a 3. Certainly has a role to play for us this season I think.
Let them silly fucks have a new record as it is only one they have reminded us of only for us to take it back to reset at a proper record that can only be beaten by ourselves as we always do
