Summer Transfer Window Thread Now Open...

Sky Sports reporter gives Odsonne Edouard transfer update...

Wow!!!!!

I'm flabbergasted...........an employee of Sky Sports who appears to be applying logic and reason to an opinion!!!

Some rumours that we have increased our interest in Allan Campbell of Motherwell. We've been scouting him for while and may be ready to make a move. He's out of contract next summer so wouldn't cost that much. IMO the closest there is in Scotland as a long term replacement for Brown.

Have heard some good things about him
Why not ?
Knows the game in Scotland, not afraid to get stuck in and has some skills
Wouldn't cost a fortune either
Check out where he starts his run in this clip against the HUNS
Determination personified, and seems happy to stick one in against them

There seams to be a lot of attention towards the lad recently, not unjustified either, he has a way about him that would suggest bigger and better thins in future for him. If Celtic were to be that first move i,d not complain.

With Ndidi at Leicester out for 12 weeks, will The Rat try to prise McGregor away with a bid before window closes? Could he also come in for Ajer if their move for Fofana of St Etienne falls through?
He's tried to screw us before when wanting to take the whole backroom staff to Leicester with him, wouldn't put it past him again.

Not a chance of it I hope. The board would face such a backlash. But more so calmac wants to be here for the 10 not so sure about ajer

You can't totally discount an orthodox 4-4-2 now either, John - especially in Europe against mid-range opposition. That has now become a tournament to experiment with and Lenny liked that set-up in his first stint.

I think against some teams we could also go 433 with Eddie coming in from the left and Ajeti up the centre.....and either Forrest or wee Frimpong on the right.....keeping a narrow shape when we're defending.....this would allow us to press high up the park against teams.....and keep the midfield compact.....with full backs either side ensuring we don't get caught out with a long ball down our defensive wide channels and allowing them to get forward when it's on.....mibbies?
