Alex Ferguson would be a very brave man to take the Celtic job but it’s a very interesting concept...

I thought WGS was viewed as opinionated and stubborn in dealing with the press and other non-footballers because he thought most of them don't know what they are talking about (and who are we to argue in terms of the SMSM) but that he was ok for the players?

I love WGS (and I'd highly recommend you see him at one of these Celtic chat shows - he is funny and has hilarious stories about Tommy Burns). I think most players loved him but he did have some running battles with some others.

Now you and I would probably agree that they were arseholes who needed sorting out, but I don't think this is the time or environment to parachute him in mid-season. Especially if his son is rumoured to be the source of the problem as the trouble makers will assume he will take his son's side.

I must emphasise that I don't know whether or not young Strachan is a problem and I also want Lenny to turn this around and lead us to glory & history.
