Our strongest team

Ok, so when all players are fit, on form and available, what is our strongest, most settled team to take us to the league??
For me it's -

Vargas

El Hamed, Julien, Ajer , Taylor

Brown McGregor

Forrest Rogic Christie

Eduardo

We need a settled team....been far too many changes to the line up

''Fit'' and ''on form'' are the imponderables that managers live and die on . There is no guarantee that any team you name will provide both those qualities ( fit , on form ) at the same time .

If you are asking which team on paper is our best , that also is questionable - depending as it does on the formation and tactics that the manager sets out ( or doesn't - which is the main bone of contention at the moment with NL ! ).

Glad you got all that from my shrug shoulder imoji millsy 😁 don't think it matters a jot who plays or in what formation. The players seem to have downed tools.

4-2-3-1

Bain

Elhamed Julien Bitton Laxalt

Broony CalMac

Forrest Rogic Turnbull

Eddy
No Ajer or Christie in the starting 11 until they commit to being here for the long haul, not interested in playing players who've got one eye on the exit door......if they commit then I'd rotate Broony with Ajer and Turnbull with Christie.

When Rogic is fit he's one of the first names on the team sheet but unfortunately the guy seems to be made of glass so when he's unavailable (which I'll bet is more often than not) I'd move Turnbull in one and bring Christie back in on the left.

An in-form Eddy gets the nod ahead of the rest every time BUT if he's off it and the opposition are parking the bus then Griff and Ajeti come into contention.

4-4-2

Bain

Elhamed Julien Bitton Laxalt

Forrest Broony CalMac Turnbull

Griffiths Eddy
Same back 4 for consistency, same again where Ajer/Broony and Turnbull/Christie are concerned and go with the most potent front 2 pairing we have.

4-3-3

Bain

Elhamed Julien Bitton Laxalt

Broony CalMac Turnbull

Forrest Griffiths Eddy
Again same back 4 for consistency, same rotation again with Ajer/Broony and Turnbull/Christie and push Forrest up top with Griff and Eddy as all 3 can stretch any defence and get you goals.

Rogic, Frimpong, Ajeti, Moi, Taylor etc. would also play their part throughout the season.
