Back to Full Lockdown measures. Null and Void the season?

😂😂 The rangers were calling for it when we werent in the full lockdown measures, why not other clubs including ours call for it now? Of course it will NEVER happen and I dont think I need explain why. Still how does a club go from calling for a null and void season with what ? 8 games to go or so and think it better not to when Celtic have only reached the halfway stage? Played 19 games of 38. Games postponed constantly teams awarded default points for the opposition being unable to name 13 players. I would like to see us play it out regardless but whose to say that Celtic couldn't go on another unbeaten run in the next half of the season? If the measures announced in the last hour or so have to be observed then doesnt that mean that football , like all sports as in last season will come to a halt? If so can you award a club anything when only half the seasons completed? I know it's very very unlikely but it is still a serious poser to ponder.

NULL AND VOID NULL AND VOID NULL AND VOID NULL AND VOID
Of course my post is tongue in cheek but only because it wont happen. If the measures introduced today are the same as last march and possibly even stronger measures to follow ( bojo last night) then youd think it naturally would follow that football and sports in general have to cease, and I have every confidence in the establishment to do the exact opposite

we should rip up our pitch it looks shite anyway
It does Kelly and ibrox didnt look much better. Both look like rugby has been played on them. Our hybrid sickly field hasnt quite worked out as we'd hoped. Perhaps BR might have considered the Scottish climate before demanding the hybrid surface. Probably would work fantastic in Cornwall but Glasgow in January and February? Not so much.

But Murrayfield went for the same hybrid pitch as us and it is in superior condition - and they do play actual rugby on it (I've watched Nir Bitton practice his tackling there). We have somehow introduced a disease into our pitch and playing so many games in a short period of time in winter has truly fecked it (as they'd say on the Beechgrove Garden).

Maybe PL got a cheap deal on it and it isn't what the snake requested.

I'm sure that Nosferatu will be arguing vociferously for null and void on Snyde 1 this evening (though I won't be listening in to find out) and Monster Munch will be arguing the same on Sky. I'm, sure of it... they wouldn't have double standards, would they?
Nosferatu and his horse race analogy, does the bookie pay oot if the jockey rapes and eats the horse? Asking cause I have no friends and am repulsive to the females of the species.

There’s mair chance of the US dropping an atomic bomb on Russia than that.

It's more a wind up... I am already using it... Just winding them up but... Who knows! I really doubt that will happen. I feel the Scottish gov are trying to get some huns on board by over indulging in sooking up their arses... Hence the 2 game ban, no probs with what they do, and kisses for how they deal with breaches, then have a go publicly for the Dubui. break... We were doomed from the start with the 2 game ban... And the writing was on the wall. The SNP, in my view will push for independence soon and they need the Hun vote to be sure... So they will crawl up their arses... I think most people see that. So they put the Tim vote in Jeopardy... or do they?. Most People that vote SNP know that there will be a knock on effect in Ireland if Scotland goes its separate way.. It would likely happen that N. I. would agree to an all Ireland Gov... I. E. e. the 6 counties would be free... so there is the question.. Should we call out the SNP or just go along with their shite and burn the butchers apron... That's just my thoughts!

Hi Frank53, I gave a fair amount of thought as to whether I should offer an opinion regarding your post. Experience has taught me that even the most innocuous comment posted on social media can be taken out of context. I'm probably something of a bore Frank, you see, I have a number of things in life I'm passionate about. Family, ( number one) Celtic FC, and politics. In choosing to go ahead with the trip to Dubai I feel the club has made a bad decision. Quite apart from giving those with a pernicious hatred of Celtic/ Irish/Catholics, ( in the interest of clarity, I'm not Catholic. Just detest bigotry), it shows a disregard for the rest of society who are being asked to make a significant effort to beat the pandemic. I also believe most Celtic supporters feel as I do. For me there comes a time when we have to call out a bad decision when we see one. I know from your post you feel more or less the same. I can't really fault The Scottish Government in any way. If they didn't ask questions regarding this trip they would be failing in their duty.

Like I've said before, play the home games at Lennoxtown....what difference does it make?
