Benkovic hasn't done anything since he got injured with us. I think he was brilliant for us when fit.

3 5 2 , unless we sign a winger and actually play him. Then we can go 343 and actually attack the teams we are playing against.

Left sided centre backs we are alleged to be looking at Pearson - at Preston - McKenzie at Philadelphia Union and our own Lee O'Connor ( on loan EL2 I think ). Personally I like Gallagher and Porteous and did like McKenna who was left sided and Scots players would be much more affordable ( and ARE natural centre backs ) in these uncertain times and big Kris could move into midfield or RB when required. We're asking a lot of our rightie midfielders to play centre back

I never quite got the clamour for Scott McKenna but all my Aberdeen supporting pals raved about him. I'm not sure how he is getting on down south but I'm assuming we are still tracking him.

There is a lack of left footed centre halves around. Of those we are/were interested in Ben Davies at Preston is one and McKenzie is about to sign for Genk so we can rule him out. Lee O'Connor is a right back. Davies seems to be the one we are most interested in. We probably need to sign 3 CHs between now and the summer, at least 1 straight away. At least 1 has to be a natural left footer. No more loans, we need to start to rebuild.

Another talented young player who has made good bank balance, but poor career choices. He was good with us when fit but the fact he couldn't/wouldn't play on plastic pitches was a problem in a league where a quarter of the pitches are plastic.

Aye defo mate Benkovic knows the drill been here n done it n the boy Fay Motherwell can only get better and hes alot cheaper n better than duffy they both are

Benkovic i would take back in a heartbeat but how long would he have to sit on the bench before he was played ,you could forward all the tools needed to lenny and as proved so far he dosen't know how to use them
Lee O'conner going by what all the UTD boards were saying when he came to us was an outsatnding player and a really solid defender a good prospect ,yet he never got a sniff
