Livi v Celtic wed 20 jan 8.15 p.m

Before I get accused of trying to hide behind another pathetic preformance could anyone be able to explain how come the match last night was able to be completed? I was under the impression that if the lines on a pitch were not visible and also not been able to see the ball properly then the conditions would have been deemed unplayable.
I now its a lousy excuse but rules are rules and due to the shite position we are in, I'm just wondering why as a club we haven't called them out
Because Collum not only has eyes in the back of his head to seee sevco penaltys but he also has x-ray vision so could see the lines perfect and there was no need for an orange ball as the sfa band clubs from ever kicking an orange ball ever again

why did it go ahead ,,,,it was Celtic ,,,,only logical thing i can think of

I think the season is that much of a farce that it made more sense just to get it over with since it only had short time left in match and although I have feeling the covid will shut this season down soon, was just its started so it will finish.

But I agree in principle that had this season not been so warped with fixture congestions then that game wouldn't have even got go ahead, never mind finished with the snow making it dangerous as well as hard to see lines.
Farce being the right word TET and yet we still remain the biggest jokers in the pack, I have long ago treating this as a null and void season as it has now been just to farcical to be taken seriously

Plus we had to keep scum TV happy that hide behind the name SKY

Bit that sticks in my craw is the board knowing we were in the shit had a chance to to try and save our season instead of naval gazing each other and waiting till the end of january ,,,,,the horse is long gone on that one something they were only to willing to let happen

Gollum was in his element,he ignored the line issue or the danger to players he would not stop the game under any circumstances no way was he giving Celtic any change of another game in hand, his referring was one sided Broonie gave him the golden ticket 2-2 each no way down to 10 men god he must have thought it was his birthday gave Duffy a yellow as banker but did have to use it only played the advantage for Iivi mind we did not help our self’s,

We can debate about what has happened all through this season but we will be none the wiser unless we get Lawwell to come out of hiding or Desmond speaks to the press because by the looks of things he has no intentions of speaking to us.
It is looking very much like Eddie Howe will be the new Celtic manager sooner rather than later.
Two bookies have closed their book on Howe coming to Parkhead Betfred, and I think Coral.
Betfred closed their book when Eddie Howe went to 1/10,not often bookies get it wrong.

HH.

The players don't seem capable of playing 90 mins we only seen to get 1 good half from them. it was noticeable last night that a few players disappeared from the game in the 2nd half the biggest culprits being McGregor and Christie(who I thought was our worst player) questionable subs Frimpong should have replaced Christie not Ajer that way She's could have went into the middle and Bitton could have taken the place of Soro in midfield. Simple decisions like this have wrecked our season along with the ineptitude at defending free kicks

Golum,
Was it he who can hear a penalty from 30 yards,
while the dive bombers cut the attack off from above,
or, was the hack a Madhun faux pas,
beyond caring the deeds are done,
by the OF apologist, and his misguided coach,

Funny thing about Gollum the other night, the commentator said after he booked someone, he will be getting more cards this week as its his 42nd birthday.

42 ffs he must have had a bloody rough paper round as a boy.

Anyhoo Broonie was a straight red imho, but we have all seen these things ignored or missed by every official at the time, twice without trying hard I can think of punches to the face Broonie has received and no action taken, its the inconsistency that drives us nuts, get VAR in, its not perfect but its better than a hun with a whistle and white stick.

I was pretty sure that Gollum was hundreds of years old! Can you imagine him as your paperboy? He be delivering you the People's Friend instead of your desperately needed new copy of Razzle!

Wen the Broonie incident first happened, I was following CalMac as he was breaking up the pitch and vaguely saw the guy collapse in a heap. I had assumed he had slipped on the dangerous surface and must have done his knee ligaments the way Gollum went sprinting across. I couldn't believe it when he pulled out a red but when I saw the look on Broonie's face I realised he had done something naughty and had been caught out.

Watching the replay Broonie obviously got the arses with the guy because he tugged him back a few times and he decided to bodycheck him "show this cheeky young upstart just who was boss". He then swung round and I thought there was minimal contact on the boy's face and he made a meal of it, but watching it again I thought - no, you did hit him there.

Did I think he deliberately tried to slap him in the coupon - no!
Did I think he was reckless and hit the guy with a raised arm - yes!
Was it worthy of a red card - probably yes!
Do I think Morelos or another sevco player would have seen straight red for the same offence with the same ref - probably no!
Do I think the situation was entirely avoidable and stupid and should not have been initiated by Broonie - defintely yes!

That was not the time or place for our very very very experienced captain to essentially throw away any chance of salvaging a much-needed win from another shite performance just so he could show a young buck just who the big boss man was. He must have realised by now that he can't pull idiotic stunts like that - that phase of play was over, he had won it and Celtic were on the attack thanks to his determined play.

I'm fed up banging on about them being too unfit to play for 90mins. In the 21st Century that defies belief.
It doesn't help matters that Lennoxtown is so exposed to the weather either. Any time you get to see the bhoys training, even on a relatively mild day, out there its Baltic conditions. Go all the way back to ronny deila, he wanted the club to build an indoor training centre , the sort that clubs our size have all over Europe. Our board would rather build a hotel and that would bring income to the club but no small amount of fat cats, and tickets to them they have no business of having. Lennoxtown is a good decent training complex but a club of our standing deserves better. We also deserve better than the media outlets reporting on the likes of Benitez as a possible new manager, those of of us at a certain age know that every season these nonsensical stories play out with no substance whatsoever and possibly leaked deliberately by some PR guy at the club. If anyone thinks for a second that Benitez is a possible goer , then I'd point out that the club have lost another long term target Doughty from Charlton. If we cannot attract players who are at the end of contract that's because we wont pay the money. What chance then benitez? Zero

I honestly believe that theres more truth in the moon being made of cheese than this rumour, as much as I'd love it to be true, I saw Rafa freaking out at the same time as Rodgers when he wasnt getting the appropriate backing in funds for players , and he would face that at Celtic. I d rather see Howe get the job personally though it would propel Celtic's standing in world football if they landed Rafa. Remember the nonsense rumours of mourinho for celtic? I put this in that box, the nonsense box. He is still a highly sought manager worldwide and the money hes just made in China would be cut drastically. Howe we can afford rafa we can afford but the signings both would want will differ drastically in cost and that's why "I DONT BELIEVE IT " to quote victor meldrew bah. ☘
