theRangers V Celtic

If Man U beat Liverpool today i can see klopp being under pressure. Tbh I want slippy to stay and we get a manager with tactical nous and a good brain so that we fuck them over next season.

It shouldn't take much to fuck them.over they're still a wank team
St Mirren and St Johnstone have shown that.
We should never have ended up like this

That team should bury them week in week out under a decent manager

There's something more to this behind the scenes to see a club in such disarray from top to bottom and no movement to change things for the better since october and a caretaker manager playing the same team same tactics as the gut we got rid of

something fkn stinks , i believe the support has been sold out this season all on the backs of an old firm pact
For me, we faced a transition point last summer that didn't happen properly.
Some players should have been sold but were kept for the 10. Other players were brought in who haven't worked out.
Then the defence was ravaged by injuries and I don't think we can under estimate the impact that had on performances.

Pressure then came on to the team, Lennons selections and tactics at times were baffling and made things worse. Confidence started to go because some players weren't good enough for the fight.

At no point at all in the season were The Rangers put under any pressure whatsoever in the league. How would they have handled that? Performances in the Cups suggest they would have felt the heat.

At least Kennedy has no chance now of getting the managers job but it could take 12 months to get this team back to where it should be.

Has to be said we have been completely unprofessional from start to finish this year I won't bore you with the details but if someone at the club could come out and say something it would be appreciated. This is nothing like when we didn't take the first opportunity to do the ten ...I understand the pandemic impact but we are beyond that . It's simple a half decent manager destroys this therangers resurgence myth ...cmon the you seen their quality today ..
They will come out and say something, they’ll say right lads been a poor season but give us your season ticket money

If there's even a sniff of a positive to be taken from this season it can only be that it's over. I'm not going to indulge in the blaming of any individual. The collapse has been one of collective failure. And it's been a failure not only of individuals, but of departments too.

Said it many times on The Noise, the job ahead for whoever the manager is, simply cannot be overstated. EVERY area of the team needs changed as far as I'm concerned.

We can't defend. The midfield simply falls out of games and doesn't dominate the opposition in what is a very poor league. The forward line is powder puff. All departments of the club, team, scouting, coaching, boardroom have fallen short.

It will take something pretty spectacular to put things right in a short period of time. But you know what ? Bring it on. I've lived the dream being a Celtic supporter. I can handle the bleak times too.

That was a real tough watch today. We had possession but no belief.
Celtic need to announce the new manager even if it’s with the caveat that he starts the day the season ends ( October🤣) Let’s get our renewal started. Make our financial muscle work and bury this mob and their arrogance next season.

Great points Frank and I hope you 2nd jab made you feel like an invincible again mate.

Well that was an absolute scunner...
Kennedy's substitutions today were baffling to say the least. We are down at half time to ten men and behind in the final Derby game of the season and he brought Ryan 'ma da says im the best' Christie on and then his other substitution is to take edouard off and play Mike Johnston?? The first half we conceded two silly goals and were hampered by Jonjoe Kenny, Scott brown, callum Mcgregor and Scott bain. I've always said I thought bain was a good keeper not an outstanding one but good after today I cant say I feel that way anymore he was utterly hopeless palming everything, flapping, and terrible positioning for each of the goals. Mcgregor first tackle should have been a warning but the ref needed to even it up after booking the rangers player to appease his masters 😜 brown was off the pace again today he was ghosted everytime in that midfield and players were getting round him or skinning him too easy, he also gave away a fair amount of fouls and still at times was pressing up the pitch, if you are the holding midfielder you need to cover the hole in between the centre backs if your full backs are marauding forward. I can't even say anything about jonjoe Kenny the boy looks like a deer caught in the headlights, hes fucking dross man.

I'm also going to say it again lennon this season never had control of that team it was Kennedy and Lawell to set Kennedy up for the next manager position if we had won the ten, we would have accepted that more than likely. After the sending off we should have went to 3 at the back with soro holding, Taylor and forrest at lwb and Rwb respectively and turnbull in behind Eddie on the left moi through the middle and griff on the left throw the kitchen sink at them don't leave edouard to be caught between davis, goldson and the other cb constantly...

Could have been so different today if there was any kind of competent management from board to coaching.

To be positive we have been pish all season but I don't think they are as good as they're being made out to be they are a strong unit but with a manager with his own backroom staff and some tactical awareness they can be easily overcome.

Brown is off {finished as a player} McGregor was awful, should never have committed those fouls especially the second one knowing he was on a yellow, disgraceful from a pro, Kenny, well already said he was shit and should never have started, Ajer is still a player who has something to offer the new manager, Welsh was out his depth, MOI should have done better with the chances he had, turnbull falling into the pattern of the squad and losing his form, overall another weak, pitiful performance that lies at the managers feet, nothing whatsoever has changed since Lennon got fired, its shocking we have fell so low in standards of play but again its all about team selection and we basically fell at the first hurdle due to this. Kennedy should be out the door as he is of no use to Celtic as a club, got to go along with the rest of the lame ducks.

I think it needs to be said. I'm going to place the blame where it belongs.
THATS WITH THE PLAYERS.
The usual suspects always get the blame ie, Manager, Chairman, Coaches.
But its time some of these players took some responsibility. Some have been underperforming some have been outright not trying a fucking leg.
They're spoilt basturds especially given what the whole worlds been going through this past 15 months. The fans have stumped up for 'virtual' season tickets and been starved of their live match experience and all that comes with it.
These arrogant fukkers are still picking up full wages while playing in empty stadiums. Honestly they make me fucking sick. All these wantaways looking for more fucking money, well why don't they try and earn the fucking wages they are getting paid now.
I'm fucking sick of them.

We fucked up last summer asking the likes of Eddie for one more year especially with lennon as gaffer with too many wanting out and no tactics in games then sacking lennon it all combines to make a shit season we shud never have tried to coast this season with wantaways and loans hindsights a great thing but everything combined set us up for failure in my humble and pure pissed aff opinion

As we all know Kelly you are 110% right in your thinking, since Lenny left it has been exactly the same as it was before he left, nothing has changed,Kennedy is doing more or less the same things Lenny did.. or not.
I was a Kennedy believer until I saw what he was doing different..NOTHING.
Why would you not tell your left back in training to try a quick throw-in instead of counting to sixty before you throw the ball back to the opposition..
Taylor is the weakest fullback I have seen at Celtic in a very long time,by weak I mean strength,he gets blown over like a fag paper, all 3 fullbacks are not Celtic class, goalkeeper is another big disapointment,Why did we let Craig Gordon walk away..we bring in a guy big Shane who we all thought would be a standout in Scottish football only to turn out to be a very big disapointment to everybody, then we have to blood a young centre back because we lose our main centreback,we should have already had cover for these positions when we are going for 10iar but as usual Lawwell thinks he is the smartest guy on the planet and if we keep holding out we will get the recruit we want on the cheap,,something like Ivan Tony who has scored at least 29 goals in the ECL,,again down to Lawwell, but we cant forget he got us the prolific goalscorer Ajeti from West Ham who has scored about 5 goals I think at a cost of £1m per goal..
This team did not fall apart in 20/21 season,IMO this team started to fall apart in February 2019 the first game Neil Lennon took charge of since Rodgers left,he accepted the post knowing he could not bring in his own backroom staff, knowing he would not have the final say who would be signed,,sure he told Lawwell who he wanted and needed,,Lawwell told him who he was getting..
These two men are the guilty parties in my eyes for Celtic being in the position they are today..

HH

What's the betting Howes arse collapses under pressure and can't handle the gold fish bowl of football in glasgow , he's never been in the position where the support expects to win each week
Dont forget Kelly he has never been in charge of a team which can win every week or a team who play in Europe every season..
That,s why we got the name Invincibles..

HH.
