Fool me twice...

If he has any sense he will have done his homework. A quick Google should tell him JK is seen as Lawwells man on the inside. He cannot have someone he doesn't trust or is running back to his master telling tales.
It's an important role and hopefully after the NL disaster we won't make the same mistake twice.
I agree, but still the signs remain as JK the unsackable man, didn't see the players respond to him last season in any way, so what makes us think they will next season? Need a big change in his current position

Kennedy and Strachan have not hung around John for nothing and IMO wee Gordon and his other son are looking for a payday also..
I can see the wee man as our next DOF.

HH
If he was to be GS then why isn't he in the role already?
I know he once had the role at Dundee but no idea on if he still has the role or how well he did in it

These arseholes are just getting on my tits atm.
I'm also lost faith in the current board, but hardly worth protesting when still haven't been given the time to redeem themselves yet.
No doubt they have made a noose for there own necks but surely we shouldn't be condemning before we actually know the answers
Exactly mate, let the people in charge get on with it and maybe make a judgement in January.
Postecoglou is getting a bit of stick from some people,we need to give the guy a chance.
All the comments we have heard about him so far are very encouraging so lets back the man and get the monkey of our back,,how good will it be nexy May with 62,000 Celtic supporters inside Paradise watching the flag being unfurled again..

We've just appointed a manager who you wouldn't be surprised to see take up the reins at Hearts. If we think the signings will be any less underwhelming then we've not been reading the script.

When was the last time we signed (on a permanent basis, without a loan first) a proven player who could, with reasonable confidence, be expected to improve the first team? Jullien, maybe. Sinclair before that. Two in ten transfer windows. Disgraceful.

It's not supporting the club to simply dismiss the very real concerns we should all have in favour of glibly backing the new manager. Even if he is a success (and I hope that he is) it doesn't change what is wrong at Celtic.

We need to force change, or at the very least demand proper answers about our direction, before it's too late, if it's not too late already.

We can't afford to wait to be fooled the next time. Or the time after that.

SACK THE BOARD
We will soon see if anything has changed with this managerial appointment.
We will be able to tell if the club has any REAL ambition left as our signings come through the front door. I would be surprised if anything HAS changed. I expect project signings....buy young and cheap, improve and sell on. Playing in the SPL offers no incentive to do otherwise.
Prove me wrong Celtic............ I DARE YOU.

Understand what you are saying mate but unfortunately IMO if J.K. was going anywhere I think he would have been gone by now,I also believe Dom McKay is showing Postecoglou some respect and will allow him to name J.K. as his assistant,,Kennedy... John IMO is going nowhere unless he wants to..

The ones making the decisions over the past year have let us all down over the past year no doubt GS.
But it's time now for the GB to actually show are they supporters or demonstraters?
I'm far from happy at the current situation and not filled with confidence with the latest appointment, but that won't stop me supporting the team, even if decisions aren't to my liking.
Demonstrating about the unknown is just being ridiculous atm and I would question are they really supporters?

Once again John I understand 100% what you are saying but IMO The Green Brigade are second to none, the atmosphere they are able to create is unbelievable at times but that is where it ends for me..
I dont like the protesting, the banners I think are a waste of time and material, and the flares they let of really piss me of especially when they have already been told by UEFA there will be consequences which will fall on the club..

Yes there is great things they do as supporters, but they need to start realising they don't speak for us all.
Our support is known worldwide and they can't try to take all the credit for it either.
What is the concern is the potential damage they can create with there ongoing nonsense, we are in a tricky enough position to overcome without them adding to it atm

There’s no denying the new guy needs someone who has been involved in the Scottish game over the last few years
If you play devils advocate and put yourself in ange shoes they’ve given Kennedy a glowing recommendation and he’s probably went
Fair dinkum cobba

Correct johnno but at the end of last season pre covid they had net cash of 35 million. Season books were sold and staff took pay cut so they could handle it. Would have drained a bit away but not 35 million.
The sale of klimala and pending sales of at least Ajer/Eddie I’d say near 25/30million.
I’d imagine broony was top earner then Eddie and Ajer would have been up there too
So we’re far from skint
Granted and also there's gonny be money coming in aswell I wisnae meaning he was getting nothing

Not going to disagree BBB with what we require to form a very strong squad, but is that realistic in this transfer window? Can't see it with the time line we have given ourselves.
With still no DOF in place and no word upon one even going to be appointed, leaves the question on who is going to be making decisions on what players will be staying and going.
Without a DOF who then has been dealing with agents, or have we even been in a position to deal with them? With the saga over the length of time it's taken just to finally get a manager.
Attention now really turns to what we still have within our ranks.
Would have thought, Griff, rogic, and Bitton have no longer got anything to offer us to improve the team, yet are we in a position to off load them just yet?
Barkas and Ajeti have hardly shown value for money, and on long contracts still, so can Ange improve them to warrant a starting position and able to hold it down? A big ask imo.
Are the likes of Henderson, Shaw, Luca, Bayo etc able to force there way into challenging for starting roles? I would like to think so now.
Will ntcham and boli still have any part to play within the team? I hope not.
We still have huge questions that hope to get resolved but with Ange not in position until July to make his own assessments of current players still leaves us with a huge mess without answers.
With the time line involved and one we have given ourselves doesn't fill me with confidence of being a well prepared team for the start of the season as you would have been hoping for us to have acted early in this transfer window, but still didn't put ourselves in a position to do so still
He said he likes using the youth system so he will no doubt give guys a chance who some of us thought maybe shud have had a chance by now so maybe 2/3 will be from within

If we have signed a manager who knows how to beat us then we are onto a good thing, because last season we beat ourselves when we were overrunning teams and then panicking with minutes to go and conceding to shite.

We need to start investing in the squad properly again get the scouts working and we can build something worth while it does my nut in why they waste so much money wid like them to spend it more specifically on players we need and can sell on theres literally thousands of players thru out Europe alone got to be gems all over the place and we buy ajeti ffs

We have six weeks till the start of next season. This should be a time for preparing and not for a civil war. Some posters do not realise that our Board and CEO want Celtic to win and be successful. They are not the enemy. Anger is a stage of grief. it is not helpful. By the 25th August we will either be in the CL Group stages or not. So ask yourself do we have the resources to be happy then. We have lost Klimala and probably Eddie and Griff is out of contract. Only having Ajeti as a recognised forward is unacceptable, Do we still have Bayo on our books? That's not enough and needs remedied ASAP. Do we need another goalkeeper? i suspect so. If not then matt ryan is worth a look. it is silly for the GB to demonstrate to sack the board. That should not be the focus for the next six weeks.

They are the enemy within
It’s fine to say that they want the best for Celtic
I believe they do but their idea of best and our best differ widely
They’ve shown over a period of time they are not fit to run a football club never mind one the size of ours with one incompetent decision after another
Their apathy for their paying customers is palpable
Their ambition is shown in our European results against dross with far inferior resources
We want success measured on the park
They measure success on a balance sheet and constantly sell our best players as a result of not getting into champions league thereby dismantling promising teams.
And year upon year through doing our transfer business once we’re out of CL is shocking and when we do business they allow non football people to choose which players we sign, players the football people never asked for
I could go on
