PICTURE GALLERY Part Two

Here's oor Michael's wee pal, sporting her Whitecaps toque
This was taken about two years ago
She's a wee cracker and she's going to play fitba
She's a leftie too, and already has a great shot on her
She knows how to back heel a ball, and does drag backs too
She's my world and she has her Celtic strip with Henrik's number 7 and her name on the back, courtesy of the bold MD
The Noise LEGEND
Christ, I miss that man, we all do

Dill, isn’t she just beautiful.
I think MD is never far from our thoughts on a daily basis - I was just thinking I wonder what he’d have said about the Tennis balls malarkey made me smile there 💚

Our youngest boy is heading up north for a couple of days, into snow country, so asked if he could borrow my Explorer Sport...
Sure no problem
That will get him anywhere he needs to go
It's been in the family for about 16 years, and I'm fond of it
He dropped off his '91 Nissan 240 SX
He bought it for $2300, did all the work himself, putting about 6 grand into it
It's a beaut' and while I'm a muscle car guy, I appreciate the work and time, not to mention money, he put into it
I asked him to crank it up and he did, you should have seen the neighbours come to their windows when they heard it roar to life, too funny
It has a Corvette engine, and a Viper transmission
It's a 6 - speed, and it goes like schtink...or so I'm told ;-)
He wanted me to go for a ride with him but I said I'd wait till he got back
For the gear heads amongst us...have a swatch at this
The only thing missing are the wings

Cheers pal, I'm happy because both of my boys are in the construction trades, but they both have skills in other areas, one is into cars and our oldest boy builds models
You should have heard his brother's Nissan roar to life, and I wasn't kidding when I said the neighbours across the street came to the windows
Good analogy of a Rocket launcher Kelly, it rumbles and you feel the ground shake
He's got the latest stereo and touch screen in it and the sub woofer in the back, is awesome

Our oldest, Kyle, uses his 3-D printer to make the models, then carves and paints them
He made this lifesize model of the lead singer from GHOST, for his brother's girlfriend for Christmas one year, she liked the band, and couldn't believe it
He also wired it up with lights, and hand carved 'Ghost' emblems for it
I'm a happy old man now and I hope that those of you who have been blessed with kids, are having the same good fortune with yours, as we have had with ours Ghost.jpg

Just for reference, this is GHOST's lead singer, Tobias Forge

We went for a walk 'doon the splash' yesterday, wee seaside town called White Rock
Georgia loved the brisk wind through her fur and the fresh air did us both good
She almost pulled me off my feet going down the stairs, there's a lot of them at every street, all the way down to the sea front

We start to descend the stairs, I'm hingin' oan fer dear life to the handrail

A wee bit steep

The fifty foot drop down onto the railroad tracks didn't deter our intrepid husky from trying...
The pier in the background was destroyed a few years ago by a Winter stork, there's a few you tube videos on it, it was incredible
But they raised funds and rebuilt it, it's a big draw for tourists, so they needed it to be rebuilt again

This is OXFORD Street, White Rocks answer to the windy windey, street (Lombard Street is it ? in San Francisco)
They close this street in the WInter due to snow and ice, as if someone can't stop coming down the hill, they become airborne and land on the roof of a house or hit the barrier at warp speed, at the bottom
I used to mountain bike down here, and ride my bike about half way up, before gassing out, but that was centuries ago ;-)

Condos, restaurants, shops, but it's a ghost town at the moment, due to Covid, and the fact Summer is over

The White Rock pier in the above set of photographs from yesterday, has been rebuilt
This is how it looked when the waves and wind destroyed it a few years ago
Just realised that I know Tim, the guy who shot this video...small world indeed

Aw thanks Rose, yes, she's got a personality to match
She loves school too and is doing great
It would have been wonderful to have been able to meet Michael, he would have loved her
Of all the things I have ever done in this world, being her Papa is my greatest achievement
I've been teaching her some of the songs and rhymes I learned on my granny's knee
When she was just a baby, one of her favourites was the Looby Loo song
She still remembers it
These are the first day she got home and I held her in my arms
And the second is our daughter and the little Princess First day I held Liliana .jpgLiliana and Mommy .jpg

Looking good there Dill 👍
Mick's gift of Lilliana's Celtic strip was such a lovely thing and typical of the man that it was all done under cover and he didn't want any fuss or appreciation for it. I miss him a lot and I know I'm not alone. HH Mick 🍺

Looks great Dill 👍tho it has deflated my plan to have a walk round Cranhill park 😂

My mate is adopting a dog after his red pitbull Sarah, died earlier this year
She was the sweetest, gentlest, dog
So he is fostering to adopt this little beauty
Met her today and I think oor Michael probably helped out
Her name is STELLA, and like Sarah, she has the sweetest nature, playful and her tail never stopped wagging
met her for the first time today, and when I got home, Georgia was all over me, sniffing my jacket, my jeans and demanded a cuddle from me ;-)
This is STELLA
