AGM

if lawell hired ange then maybe he was asked to be a shadow director like the rest by the looks of things

lawell after the fiasco and stepping down was instrumental in hiring ange?

Why?

surely mckay was in charge when the scaredy pants english dude howe shat it
Just bullshit TT, remember McKay first addressing the fan media? Made it clear enough it was his doing about Ange coming to the club, now we are expecting to give the credit to PL traitor?
Is it beyond anyone within Scottish football to tell the truth?
No wonder sevco scum (SS) get away with what they do when a shower of lying pricks remains at the head of our club.

Somebody asked about developing the main stand and getting capacity up to 70k

Reply, stadium expansion is not a priority, and that the growing trend across Europe is in fact a reduction in size.

There's the fucking ambition Cairnsy! 😾

It's true though...look at Juventus and the new stadium planned for Roma amongst others.....all reduced capacity....I think 60k is the correct number for us and also, it's criminal that we let Broony go....he could have played a big part in our revival this year

they can afford to have smaller stadiums with the bigger tv deals they get each year

fans on seats dont contribute much to their growth

celtic park has some serious health safety issues with the north stand and i dont think in an emergency we can have a bigger capacity since pitch needs to be able to hold majority of that north stand in a serious emergency

besides we dont fill stadium every match anymore

increasing capacity isnt a good idea imo

Juventus very rarely filled their old stadium, same with Roma...now the capacity is met every home match and the atmosphere is incredible.

Appears to me there's been a mish mash of disgraceful behaviour, dismissing our genuine fears and concerns caused by Bankier, Nicholson and the rest of our board.

Why did no-one nor shareholder get the very first question out....which should have been:

"Does the room not agree, the people that really matter are the fans who are the beating heart of OUR club where 90% of them have no faith in our board. The disquiet created in recent months attest to this.
Our agenda today must include that we must have a maximum term of those standing in office of no more than 4 years and unavailable for re-selection the following year.
Can we call a poll on re-reselection names for the next term of sitting.
Automatic re-selection (by proxy) is harmful and sets a dangerous precedent, where 'the enemy within' potential, is somewhat negated to a huge degree.
Our board must be accountable to those vast numbers that demand change and is the way ahead regarding Fairness and Balance, irrespective of shares held."

After all "a club only survives by the opinions of its many voices, its support and on the backs that carry it forward."
.....Brian Clough.....Nottingham Forrest ..........November 1978.

Make no mistake its Dermot Desmond who runs Celtic or should I say is the dictator of Celtic .
Today when the majority of small share holders voted to get rid of Bankier and Wilson as did the majority of supporter,Desmond stepped in with his block of shares to keep these two snakes on the board. They have no creditably with supporters and they should step down after that slap in the face they received at todays meeting.

So what's the point of having a vote if DD already knows what the result is going to be, just an insult to everyone wasting there time casting a vote in the 1st place.

I think the answer to the stadium increase was meant to be what it was to be a shock answer so people in the room could shout about no ambition and do a bit of huffing and puffing and take the focus of the real questions that needed answered he didn't need to say we are thinking of reducing the capacity. He could have just said it's something we are thinking about or some other answers but the answer he gave was designed for people to take thier eye of the ball .it's called throwing a rat on the table it happens a lot especially when sevco have been up to no good the newspapers always have a ready made story to take the focus of the real story.

Well he shud be trying to get better telly money for the league then to try and qualify for the champs league then the cash from that reinvest that into the squad to keep us in and around the champs league its like in Scotland the whole fitbaw setup just accept that we've been left behind does my fuckin nut in wheres the fuckin ambition???
These fucking mugs on the board should be giving us the best chance of getting into the champions league.
But for some reason these superior intellectuals can’t fathom out that being prepared for the qualifiers gives you a far better chance of qualification.
The resultant qualification would gain us an extra 25-30 million in prize money and increased ticket prices in comparison with europa league.
Now if we take the last 10 years and our shocking record I’d estimate we could have got there another 3/4 times at least if properly prepared and with a proper manager.
Ask your accountant to run the numbers
Mr. wankier on that.
Your lot have cost us over a 100 million by their summer tardiness.
And that only in the last decade.
then you have the fucking balls to tell us that teams like us get pasted in Europe all the time.
I think if they got this issue right then supporters could possibly put up with rest of the shite. The silence/the cash machine view
But year on year they fuck the big picture up
Being sacked isn’t enough
Off with their heads

Definitely Derry Bhoy it is a vote of no confidence,it is telling these two to pack their bags, but DD always takes opportunity,s like this to tell us he is still in charge at Paradise..

A reduction In size 🤔 I've not seen one club anywhere who's reducing capacity the guys a fuckin idiot....for Me the stadiums big enuf we don't need an extra 10000 seats for 6/8 European games a year to me thats a waste of money but we shud be investing In the squad then the euro money gets fuckin better its not hard is it ffs
Could be doing with a lick of paint on the outside that would do for the now

I understand completely where you are coming from, John no. But we have to continue to highlight our unhappiness and anger.

Unfortunately, the block votes will carry the day. But in doing so, publicly highlights the "undemocratic' nature of our club and the out of touch chasm between our directors and supporters.

It is not good PR for a Board and especially not for Dermot Desmond. He hates being portrayed in any negative light.

Keep the pressure on as much as possible. They have been given too easy a ride, for far too long now. Organisations need to be held to scrutiny even in very successful times. This makes them wary.

I think eventually cracks will appear in the unity of this board. They know there are many unanswered questions, on many issues. They are hopeing those seeking answers will run out of steam, go away or can be isolated as malcontents.

Today will have rattled them and made them feel uncomfortable. More of the same is needed at every opportunity.

They must be shown clearly that they are privileged custodians, not owners of Celtic.🍀

Is this comment from Bankier supposed to impress the Celtic support.
It should have been done years ago or maybe he thinks Walsh is the first
brother to show favouratism for anyone who plays against Celtic..
