I've put this to you all as a poll just to see what the reaction amongst the noise is to the news that Henderson has left ( or is to leave if he hasnt yet) to hibs ( fkn hibs who love to hold us over a barrel for more money than they actually sell their players to other clubs for , how can that be good business by hibs?) Having watched Henderson on more than a few occasions and especially when he scored v real betis I'm frankly disappointed that weve allowed him to go with an option to buy, once again one of our young bright lights is leaving with option to buy. Am I alone in my disappointed thoughts that he shouldve gone on loan but with the idea that hes coming back and to fek with this option to buy bs. Soro , aye, barkas aye but Henderson whose close to breaking into the first team? No from me

I dont understand the whole situation TET but I'll glady take advice on how better I could word the options
I dont think you have worded it badly. I just dont know enough about his transfer or the player to make an informed decision.

Ange doesnt have issue giving younger players chance, therefore i suspect he doesnt really rate him highly as first team material?

Any time i seen lad (fleeting) he looked decent same with his brother but for some reason they never get much first team here whereas other young players i dont really rate get lots of gametime.

No idea what his position is since he seems to play different places anytime i saw him. i tend to think he will have a better chance elsewhere.

No idea if he will cut it at Celtic.

Personally id have kept him but wot do i know? jack. S,o if i trust Ange, i need to trust his decisions, so i'm on the reluctant but let him go for his good side of things.

He always looked half decent in the game time he got eager to get the ball and move it forward. Nice steady looking player.
But for whatever reason his Manager agreed to move him on. Hope he does really well at Hobs will get the chance with Sean. Can only wish him well in his future
Good luck.

Go on loan by all means and to another Scottish club, but no definite buy option, unless the boy wanted it that way, as TET says we dont really know the ins and outs of the contract or situation.

Decent player though with lots of talent, perhaps if he goes permanent, we could include a first refusal in the contract for say 3 yrs or so.

Don't get me started again on this subject, young Henderson is about to become another product that highlights all that is wrong within Scottish football.
Personally thought he deserved a chance last season, especially when so many were used ahead of him that couldn't give too hoots regards the club, hence his career stalled with no match game time on offer to help with his development.
This season with Ange and the style of play and quality of players used then I can understand how his game time has remained so limited and with the extra players bought in during January his chances decrease even more so, and hence his career is going nowhere currently.
Is this a right way for a young celtic player with potential to be treated?
Especially when young Henderson won't be the last either?
Will it fuck.
Personally think the club have made the right decision in giving Henderson a chance to restart his career, yet I haven't heard what price has been placed upon any potential transfer to hibs? At a total guess, I hope that a price of 4M minumin has been put in place to cover the club on all accounts, especially as I couldn't see hibs paying such a price and Henderson proves himself to be worthy of such a price tag and we can all make a better assessment of young Henderson come the summer imo.
Until then I wish him all the best for the remainder of the season and hopes he helps to fuck the huns still

I thought Hendo was out of contract at the end of this season, so not sure we will get any transfer fee for him. I don't even think we'd get a development fee for him as we were not renewing his contract.

Seeing as we let him join Hibs early on loan then they may give us a small amount.

Plus we will save a wee bit on wages (~£3,300 per week, so about £72,000 between January and May 2022) for a player we clearly were not going to play.

I'm disappointed he (or his very talented brother) never made it big with us, but wish him well.

Never realised that BB, but still gives us the option of offering a new contract if we wanted to, especially should he do well with hibs and the club reckons he deserves a new contract

Hibs will be a good fit for him there's a player there too many previous managers just wouldn't give him and his brother a chance

Wish him luck either way it goes think Maloney will bring out the best from him

He’s had 1/2 dozen games, didn’t grab it by the baws, YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN IMPACT you have to show you’re worth a place in the team, promising youngsters are ten a penny, you only get once chance to make a 1st impression, you can’t just drift in and out of games……he’ll find his own level in the game, might improve with and extend run in a team with less pressure to win every game….might not…. 🤷‍♂️

I said yes just for his sake more than anything he's a good wee player the now but needs games to develope and hibs is the right club I think
Cany argue with you there cairnsybhoy but this loan gives hibs the option to buy at the end of the loan period and they are certain to buy I just cannot get my head around the option to buy 🤷🏻‍♂️ thought the whole point in us loaning any youngsters out is to have them return with the confidence to break into the first team also not happy its hibs who will get him given how theyve dealt with our approaches for any of their players fn last team I'd do a favour for , they may have inadvertently helped to create our club but could only wish to be us ever since

Aye we shud have put a buy back into it then if he did develope the way we think we cud get him back for reasonable price its always good to have one of our own in the team
