A great through ball by Broony and magnificent 1st touch & cross by the wonderful Weah for the opener. Sad to see Forest and Eddy go off. I'd start Weah up front with Burke, Christie and CalMac supporting him - that skill and pace will frighten any Scottish defence. Ajer should have let the St J player through on goal as his suspension will hurt us more than conceding a late goal scoring opportunity in this game!

I agree. We imposed ourselves a bit more in second but couldnt get the breaks. It got pacier when toljan came on the weah came on and we found our own breaks.

Weah superb, great win against adversity. Yet again we're allowed to be kicked up and down the place with very little or no punishment. IMO 3 pens denied. Apparently the tackle on Edouard would be a free kick anywhere else on the pitch but you can't expect a penalty!
Injuires and suspensions mounting up. Christie had to limp through the last 10 mins too. Slight worry to say the least

Ajer was and is a great player for his age and genuinely fearless.
Sinclair is so frustrating, because all he needs is an edge and a bit of aggression to be a different class.
interesting now because with Forrest out, we should see Burke on the wing, and Weah up front.
The speed of those two will terrify defences and we need to change our too often methodical build up tactics to somehow exploit that big edge.
Presume Celtic had to allow Shved back as part of deal but we could do with the extra cover.
BR love him, fantastic to have him as the Boss of Celtic, but no one is perfect, leaving aside what we can see, how he is over loyal sometimes and naïve in Europe.
Superb coach but not too sure he can always spot talent over his tunnel vision focus.
He should reflect that he only has a player like Christie! because of injuries, he was never going to play him regular and by some accounts was going to be loaned swapped to Hibs!!
Taking off our best player today Burke made no sense, nor did it midweek!
BR needs to reflect that for 70 odd mins we looked like going no where and only person opening them up was Ajer on runs and Burke harassing and determination, that others could not match.
