wisdom has no timeline and lenny is playing catchup, that worries me, a lot. He thinks kids influence big games, idealistic but nice. he has no real dynamic to effect change , brenda left because he hit a wall, we need to break it,

Nailed it, Deadner. We were behind at this point last year. This year, we're not. If we have a second half of the season like we did last year -- on the pitch that is, minus the leadership drama -- we should be in good shape. And there's every indication that we will.

Some amateur analysts and armchair psychologists on this thread perceive that as denial. I can't speak for them.

Let's see how the season plays out. Keeping the receipts here.

Have to agree with you that mikey is still for me far from an established first team player hes been found wanting in this fixture at least 3 times I think.

Not sure we need the cam agree with the rest apart from we are better player for player and two disappointing performances doesn't change that players looked jaded exclude frimpong imo outstanding again and broony but must get decent recruitment in January and that's difficult to do but the board have to back lenny better we need some established players
 
Did anyone get as outraged as I did about Steven Thompson on BBC last night? We all now that true colours are raised whenever Rangers win (have a read of today's newspapers if you don't believe me!) but last night was truly sickeningly sycophantic. Michael Stewart is a jambo and no lover of Celtic either, but his points were well thought out and fair, whereas, I'm afraid that Steven Thompson is simply a Rangers supporter with a microphone. Remember, three weeks ago, he was almost in denial about the League Cup final and came close to telling us that Rangers had won it after all! I would have far more respect for him if he simply came out and said that he was a Rangers supporter, rather than trying to hide behind the image of neutrality on the BBC.
Rant over, but I'd be interested to hear other people's views on this one. On the general point, I agree there is no need for panic. We simply have to raise out game. But we can do that. And the Scottish League Cup remains adorned with green and white ribbons and hopes to meet its two friends again in May! Rise again, Celtic!
 
It's a set back no doubt but I've every faith in the team to turn it around. Again not at our best but still had our chances to win the game outright. For the second time running they've been the better side but hey Livingston also have beaten us so I dont buy into the panic , concerned is the word I'd use. We will rediscover our mojo, matter of time .when we get back elyounnoussi, hamed et all frimpong amazing again board best be paying attention I'm optimistic as always but the board must back lenny this window big time with one or 2 marquee signings. If they don't they will forever pay the price and be held responsible HH

Was screaming at the telly, get Forrest off get wee mikey off they where way off the pace. Every time frimpong made a run down the right there was no movement in front of him james hiding. Ntcham or rogic should have started. Boli is murder as well I know hayes isn't the greatest but he puts an effort in. Eddy was quiet aswell and it shouldn't be like that at parkhead. The only positive was that wee p***k morelos didn't score and got sent off. He reminds me of Barry Ferguson wee ar**hole 😂
