This goes away beyond mere football rivalry. Updated 21/3/21

If the same punishment is handed to sevco it will put them level with Celtic with games in hand, can't see that happenin, thier 9 points lead would be reduced to 4, too close for comfort, fine them,no money so won't get paid, human error by the two players, you know the rest

The silence from above is deafening,so if we all buy a sevco shirt(GOD FORBID) we will be immune from Covid 19. Considering how quick they reacted to Celtic and Aberdeen this could turn out to be a bigger farce than the Morelost bomb scare

Is there no one in the Scottish Parliament that can raise this question???

SNP.......SEVCO NATIONAL PARTY

What we have been told Fixed penalty coronavirus notices issued at 1.29 am Monday November 2nd.
What we see according to the Daily Record. Within 10 hours Rangers have taken swift and decisive action against the culprits .
Within 12 hours a Scottish government spokesperson has commended Rangers on their swift and decisive action.
Within 18 hours Police Scotland has commended Rangers on their swift and decisive action on the national television news.
I can understand the speed ( controlled panic ) of the Rangers response e,g. the players know they're done and report it to their club at lets say business opening hours of 8am and the club knows it has to respond immediately.

For this dumb Celtic fan and catholic assuming that the newspaper deadline has to be 2 or 3 hours prior to us seeing the news. Who coordinated the high speed communication between Police Scotland and the Scottish government regarding a minor policing issue which was resolved on the spot ?
Why did either organisation get involved in a matter which should be resolved by the SFA/SPL ?
How do we access the names of the authors of these statements under the freedom of information act ?
We are resigned to the fact that the eyes of the civil authorities are averted from the annual parades of hatred, sectarianism and anti Irish racism but how can the two most powerful influences in our country justify their involvement here ?
I genuinely fear that there are far deeper social implications rippling from this incident and if I could I would ask a social media influencer and Celtic fan like Phil Mac, George Galloway or even James Forrest or Niall to flag up the fact that this is more serious than mere football.
Who do we vote for now if we lose faith in the impartiality of the authorities which govern our lives ?
If any of you have followers on social media would you share this with fellow fans ?
Sorry CU just picked this up. I did a piece at the time but happy to look at a follow up for you. You raise some excellent points here. I'll try and frame an article around your post if that's OK. In the meantime, it's been a long day in the real job. I'm only good for kip!

Thanks Niall, its a post born of frustration and I don't have a big enough reach to fellow Celtic fans but I would appreciate your thoughts on it

Our Board are cowards to a man and woman. The only chance you have of them going on the offensive on any issue to defend the club, is if it hits their pocket. Even then they rarely rock the boat. Resolution 12 is total proof of that. They are more concerned about how their status is perceived in the circles they mingle in, than protecting against unfair and unwarrented attacks on our club. For the most part they are shameful exploiters, not true custodians of our club.

Even if some intrepid journalist had a real scoop on this, their employers would never sanction publication for fear of upsetting the Establishment team.

Funny how it only concerned players who never get a feckin game eh?
Apparently Slippy has hinted that they will have to work hard to get back into the frame, so on that note it simply means they are going nowhere and will be shoehorned in when the dust settles. So basically two commandos taking one for the team, nice one SMSM, SFA and Gov Scotland, dont be giving out any more warnings to other players in the future you pissed your bed now you can go lie in it. Precedent set, be deicetful and party like fuck and you will recieve a two week panel line when caught.

Season tickets next year with no gauruntee of this virus been away, you would think they would be looking ahead after all the choice is ours when that time arrives, empty stadiums and thrown under a bus previous.

Well said cu
Instead of enjoying the semi final win this week and lavishing in the glory of being 1 game away from an historic quad treble, getting right back into the mix in the europa league group, and onwards to the 10iar.
But no, it has been blighted yet again by the carry on of the scum, backed by the media with the aid of law enforcement and the Scottish government.
This is nothing really new to any celtic supporters as it has been the way for much of our long, proud and successful history.
What sickens me more this time around is that this level of corruption that is going on at a time when people's life's can be at risk due to this virus and a shower of scum get applauded whilst breaking rules, and in turn cover up the whole episode as if it was nothing wrong really.
The double standards that has been set now are nothing short of disgraceful. The cover up around who really attended this party is still left unanswered. The so called media, in particular that comic called the sun, which allows a clown called fat bastard pie munching bigot write utter shíte claiming his lot did behave better by nipping it in the bud.
Well fat Boyd truth is your shower of scum behaved far worse and have been well protected in doing so, and a nonsense rag like yours allows you to write such crap and then follows up with another feeble attack on yet another of our players. Disgusting all of ya.
As for the Scottish government, fair enough with setting benchmarks early in the season in order to keep the game we all love going.
So when rules are blatingly broken and in turn applauded instead of condemned for such actions only confirms to us celtic supporters that you are also part of "stop the 10 at all costs even if it should cost life's" By applauding you take away what was the proper thing to do in such circumstances and that was to demand a full scale investigation into what has really went on.
Of course this gave the SFA and SPFL their much needed get out clause of putting their beloved orange scum who they help and protect so much. We have already had to put up with your cheating mib's and choice of favourable fixtures to applease your bigot tribe, and leave ourselves playing catch up cause we have to be punished along with the sheep as you darent interrupt or cause any problems to the quest of the stop the 10 campaign.
Well I would like to send a little message along with many of my fellow celts
"your all a shower of soap dodgers in your support of the filth"
I have also been a huge supporter of our board in the way they have minded the finances of the club, but on this whole matter, I believe you have let all of our support down on not even challenging such underhanded tactics seen over the last few days. It would make many of us wonder how much are you in coherence with all of these authorities that are hell bent on stopping the 10. Your silence on not challenging such behaviour is not only an insult to us supporters but also to our forefathers who formed this great club and for so many that stood tall, strong and proud against all that were against them. This week has proved how much this fight goes on and together we will win this fight but are in danger of doing so if we see cowardly actions at the top of our tree.
For many of our thousands, myself included never had the privilege of seeing the Lisbon lion's in there moment of unrivalled British glory and yet get persucuted for having such a proud history against all the provocation that still becomes our way.
Time again we make that stand and united together we shall remain strong in our quest for the 10 and the quad treble at least in this memorable season for all of us celts.
We have seen today a brilliant message from the green brigade yesterday that we would all stand by, I would make a surgestion we go a step further by allowing every seat in celtic Park to be occupied with a flag, weather it be the tricolour, Celtic flag or whatever with the initials of every season ticket holder on there given seat. As well as that the flags of all supporter clubs world wide on display around the ground in our show of unity and what this season means to all of us celts.
We need to show that together all of the cheating HUN ways with all of there support will never stop that of the superior CELTS

Another point I forgot to mention is, most of us have had our suspicions about the testing that goes on over at the pigs sty as they all seem to be immune. Well of course now with the support of a government as we have seen this week, that must mean there is no reason for them to be tested whatsoever as it no longer exists as far as sevco are concerned. Let's see if benfica get a clean bill of health after playing them as liege weren't so lucky

Celtic and Aberdeen hammered, Scottish football given a yellow card by the Scottish government
the scum break the rules playing a game before test results were known, and remember, match officials for that game were'sent home' for that very reason
verdict-'it was a misunderstanding'!
second breach-scumco fined by EUFA!
third breach- scumco commended by the Scottish government!
noo mibbe it's jist me,but something stinks in oor wee open to all country, HA!
Polis Scotland tip sevco off, giving them the chance,to do what they do,our media are so enraged by this blatant attempt at a cover up,what do they do?
they dredge up an old feckin story about Jeremy Frimpong!
FFS! that's me beelin' again! 🍺🥳

Its almost as if they sit on stories until they need them or can cause maximum damage to Celtic.

I think David nailed it for you Ultra!
