We do our talking on the field. A proactive Celtics P.R team?

This thread really comes from another as they usually do. The thread "This goes beyond mere footballing rivalry " and the following debate got me thinking of our Public Relations department and really who is it and what do they do? And I'm not slating them here. My curiosity led me to Celticfc.net, a site with more than just a typical fans daily digest. Everything is covered from the first line of communication in Supporters Liason Officer John Paul Taylor, child welfare, Celtic.net and Celtic tv , matchday enquiries, brand protection right through to corporate advisors, solicitors and so on all have their own section on Celtic.Net. why am I reading all this ? Reason is more than a few of us are calling for the club to call out '(yet again) the inconsistencies and red tape unsportsmanlike injustices we have been subjected to already this season. Having gone through the site , a good informative one at that, I've noticed, or rather I failed to notice any part of the site that I would consider proactive in shooting down the constant snipes at the club. Back to the thread title and 'we do our talking on the field 'and anything else is a just petty and being bad losers. I couldn't disagree more with that last bit. Sure we dont need nor want a PR dept scrutinizing every challenge . This season however is not the same as we all knew would be the case even pre-covid. My big long point is shouldn't we have someone in a proper proactive PR position? Is it lenny or sutton , hartson or Michael Stewart's job to stand up for the club , I think not though they do a good job. We as a club are being undermined by the Scottish government,.and police Scotland on top of the SMSM ('think about that) and we really ought to have a better proactive response team in place to have our response " This of course is open season upon us and of course many things dont deserve any response. However recently as weve come under more attack from all angles I think a PR team to respond quickly to any nonsense
or not headlines makes sense and brings peace and more certainty to us at the club . Rant over 🤐

Where indeed?

Maybe it’s easier for our custodians to let Lenny take any fall out.

If they say nothing they can’t be accused of anything.....perhaps it wasn’t in the best interests of the company to say anything.....after Res12 nothing surprises me when it comes to the Celtic Board...

Iwas delighted when Neil Lennon got the job, he started the road to ten, i honestly believed he would be the man to win ten, i must confess, i waivered this season, however, that man bleeds green and white, and after stepping up and giving the big phuq off tae the Scottish government ah'm 100% behind him, regardless of how this season turns out! Mon the Lenny! 🍺 🥳

Well done lennon for saying it how it is. Unfortunately the media will report it as the little angry Irish man feels hard done by again, as always.
Lennon moans about plastic pitches, "lennon makes excuses again"
Slippy moans about plastic pitches, "we need to have a national debate"

Our fucking board know how lennon will be painted in the media with his comments. They are fucking cowards, every last one of them. There is not one single person, in my opinion, at the top of Scottish football who isn't corrupt. The most powerful men in the game care not one fuck about football. They care about money and how to get more. That is why OUR club will be cheated and slandered and their club can continue to shit all over scottish football. I wish there was something we could do about it. I wish we could run lawwell and his cronies out of town. I care not about how much money they make us. They are dirty and stink of the 5 way agreements, continuation and victim lie. There are other business men out there who could lead our club with a clean slate. As long as this board have OUR club in a strangle hold we will continue to be attacked by everyone and anyone who feels like having a dig.

totally agree with all the posts on this, Celtic should come out "swinging " over this. utterly unacceptable.
100% I mean for the clusterf*k of a club sevco are they definitely have the upper hand on us with this. They have had jabba spinning everything for them, why cant we have similar except we dont need to spin anything, just be honest . For a 'well run club' we appear to be miles behind in this department. We need a position backed by a team who are ready always to call out injustices and cheating etc instantly. If they aren't going to call out or go straight to the beaks then we should at least be spinning things in the SMSM in a pro Celtic light. We all hate the SMSM and they arent too fond on us so why not use them to our advantage instead of always being on the receiving end of them constantly using us to suit their own agendas? Get with the times Celtic, dignified silence only works in certain situations
