I'm,sorry to say it but Neil should resign before he is sacked, the team has downed tools and thrown Neil under a bus left to face the mess,so he should call the cunts behind his down fall out, he should name and shame them, before he goes he, can't trust them anymore ,so thanks for the memories Neil, but when your times up your times up,someone could come in and still salvage this season, but unless it's someone who can and gee this team up I very much doubt it

I think he is struggling with his health...it is clear from his demeanor and written all over his face.... I hope I am wrong and I hope he is ok... Some things are far more important and time is short on this earth.....I'm absolutely disgusted at the personal abuse being dished out to the man on here and other platforms.... shameful way to act

I have always been 110 percent behind Neil but time goes by and when your times up its up,what you want him to do hang on in and let this useless shower of cunts that are ment to be playing for him bring him to his knees ,Neil done a great job for us when the sleeket one left but when a team downs tools their is no winner ,and if he doesent leave quick this season will be gone by the next 2games

I've never attacked him personally docco. But I have attacked his managment style. If his mental health is suffering then that's all the more reason to go. He is and always will be a Celtic legend but Celtic as a club should come 1st. Are we to allow lenny to carry on dragging the club down because he is suffering with depression?? I'm really not trying to belittle the man or his illness but his illness or his status as a player should no save him from the fury of the fans. Last night was shameful. This season, so far, has been one clusterfuck after another. No other manager would survive after our latest run of results. Lenny should be no different. I just hope when he goes he takes kennedy with him.

The burden of the Ten Docco ?

I have a friend who has a history of mental health issues. Prior to lockdown 1, he appeared to be in a decent place and had stability in his life.

I didn't see or hear much from him during the first three months of lockdown, but once the restrictions started to relax a bit, I bumped into him one day and was a bit shocked at his demeanour and obvious decline.

We don't walk in Neil Lennon's shoes, but he must be under enormous internal pressure and we do know that he is under enormous external pressure.

It's the whole shooting match this season and NFL is intelligent enough to know what he was going to have to endure from all corners.

Whatever the short-term future holds for Lenny, it is nothing compared to his long-term health and wellbeing. I hope however things unfold, that Lenny remains well and finds some peace in his life.

I WANT Neil Lennon to lead us to 10IAR. But at this moment in time do I think he is capable of actually doing it? I really don't know any more. I certainly hope so but there have been far too many terrible performances that I fear he has lost the dressing room (but I have no direct evidence of this obviously, but many of the signs are definitely there for all to see).

I think a lot of the criticism of Lenny managerial/tactical nous is in the main justified, but I abhor the personal abuse that is sometimes directed his way (play the ball and not the man). I fear for his health and he must be experiencing horrendous pressure this season which I believe he should be sharing with trusted deputies, so I really hope he is healthy and this does not cause him any long-term issues. My wife saw him on the telly last week for the first time in months (she usually stays out of my way when Celtic are on the telly) and was really shocked by his appearance and demeanour but I don't think this is right to use these as sticks to beat him with as Celtic fans should be more than aware of his history.

My "ideal scenario" is we will the quadraphenian treble in December, win 10IAR, our performances improve significantly and NFL walks off into the sunset next summer with his legend status completely untarnished by this awful "blip" we are suffering just now and we bring in an excellent technical coach/manager to take us up to the next level again.

Whatever happens, in my opinion Neil Lennon will always be a Celtic legend due to his very successful career as a player, captain and manager (despite his limitations on all these fronts). I wish him well and sincerely hope he delivers us the right kind of history this season - whether he can (or gets the chance to after too many recent clusterfucks) is another matter entirely, and thankfully is not my decision. Yes SP. I feel it is wrong for us to speculate on Neil's mental health, but I truly believe that pretty much all of us on here are expressing our concerns for the right reasons. This has taken its toll on people and I know a couple of folks who are struggling in a very bad way at the moment. And that is without having this horrific pressure of 10IAR that Lennon is enduring. I hope he stays healthy and can quickly get back to enjoying the fitba as it is clearly a chore to him at the moment.

In football you are only as good as your last result it doesent matter what you have won in the past, one of my saddest memories is the picture with big jock when big Billy took over from him,it doesent matter what you win in football that counts ,the only thing that counts is the last result and the next one, like they say the past is the past the future is a mystery, the only thing that matters is the present and at the moment it doesent look good

Just read Phils take on it. Apparently as reported elsewhere on the noise Desmond held talks in London with managers agents. 0hil know 2ho they are but can't say as we have a manager in position. Phil reckons moves could be made during Intl break. We will wait and see.
