I've defended lenny to the hilt all season as the domestic season is far from over , just begun really. I have been horrified by the personal attacks on one of our legendary figures ( something he will always be regardless of what comes next) from some of our own. I cannot back lenny any further, breaks the heart to say that of someone who's given so much joy to us. The recent run of dreadful results and performances has to stop. If lenny isnt for walking then the board have to do the honourable thing and take our legend out of this nightmare. Whatever the reason for this slump is irrelevant now. The players arent on the same page, defence is a shambles its just not working. The 2 sparta Prague implosions are embarrassing to say the least. We look jaded and tired , big players always injured , I could go on but to save lennys dignity the board must step up and show they have a pair and take this great man out of the firing line. Who then can we look to? We need a manager with a vision , I'd be all for Eddie Howe but I think that he will have offers in England. That shouldn't stop the board from trying though. Celtic are an attractive proposition for any manager our league is more so now theres a resurgent sevco. If we are going to do it then it has to be NOW not a second to lose. Thank you Neil Lennon for the fantastic memories and trophies galore . You've taken us further than we couldve hoped. Time to bow out with dignity intact. Celtics reputation, Celtic supporters can take no more. HH ☘

Out of sympathy they may give him the cup final.....
There can be no place for sympathy lennono , it wins nothing never has never will and if you seen the fixture list we have before the final as posted by boab the other day you'll see it's much further away than you think in fixture terms. I too thought it was one of the upcoming games but it's actually about 10th on the programme

Written from the heart , Winter ! Unfortunately I doubt if any of our Board share our own feelings for the Club . If they did we would be in a far different place at this moment in time .

Season after season of dithering during the transfer window when we should have been strengthening for the CL qualifiers ;
appointing Lenny ( sorry Lenny ) after Rodgers walked out ( and why did he walk out? ) indicated that we were happy with a lower calibre of coach ;
the constant failure over almost a decade to pursue Res. 12 when even Stevie Wonder could see the corruption that represented ;
the constant interfering by Lawwell in transfers which cost us dearly while selling our best assets so that , today , we are NOT a CL team and NOT even a Europa League team .

If any one on the Board had Celtic's reputation at heart they should have spoken up before as we weakened out team over a period of years and showed NO ambition beyond our domestic game . Lawwell will point to the fiscal strength of the Club - but as his bonuses show that is all he appears to value .
The Whyte and Kelly regime were openly contemptuous of the Celtic supporters - this lot can't even be bothered to expend that energy on the support .

I will be honest and say that I didn't think Lennon was the right appointment and the whole job offer in the shower smelled of penny pinching. Don't get me wrong the other name that was in the running was Moyes and I didn't want him either but the appointment said to me the board were going back to the pre Rodgers thinking after Seville I said we were a couple of players away from competing in the later stages of the CL but the board say on their hands and that team started to wain . We need a manager that can set up a team to defend when they have to and for 90mins if need be the midfield need toplay as part of the team win their tackles not shirk them and the pace of the game needs to be quickened it is far too laboured at the moment and the forwards need service and back up. It's over to the board now but I won't hold my breath on them being proavtive

Thanks jamsam (I'm only 5ft 7 though) 🙂 gives me no pleasure to say it but even less so to see it

I wouldve taken Moyes, he knows the club , hes a top level manager who has operated at that level for ever and he could only be good for Celtic imo he is underrated and if you've seen any of the football west ham are playing at the moment you (might ) agree

I gives me no pleasure to say this but he has to go. I'd be astonished if he is still our manager for Sunday's game. As long as Kennedy isn't named full time manager as replacement otherwise that really is Lawwell trawling us.

But no more abuse of Lenny please. 🍀
100% Bridie Bhoy,This is a human being we are talking about with a wife and family,they dont want nor need to hear any profanities printed or spoken about Lenny.
I think we all know this is the end for him at Parkhead,this man arrived at our door with a lot of dignity,let him leave the same way..

I hear you are bigger than "No longer Big" Ian these days - he's tiny I believe.

On a serious note, well done fella. You took a stance on something you trully believed in and, although like you most of us still abhor the personal attacks on Lenny's character, you have been strong enough to admit that you've had enough. 👏

If he goes, and I don't think he will, Lawwell will put Kennedy in as interim manager in the hope he gets wee run of results and he can appoint him permanently.
