‘Révolution du Football’ and the French Window opening for Celtic and the Rangers

French football eh.

Sceptical to say the least, dont get me wrong I would jump at the chance as I'm sure most of our fans would, but if the barriers change then imho playing in France would cause Celtic and our fans a lot less of a problem than coming up against National Front supporters every other week down south. Although the thought of ferries and Euro Express trains filled with both sets of fans heading to France on the same weekend boggles the mind.

As I say sceptical as everyone knows "Ho ho ho its magic Zombies and Garlic dont go ".

Life in the slow lane is the alternative. Changes are coming. Celtic is one of the world's iconic football brands, with the back-story, history and heritage that has global appeal - but not when we are playing in the SPFL on plastic pitches at Hamilton, Livingston and Kilmarnock.

Those games look awful.

The TV money from playing in a big league would transform Celtic and allow us to have a chance to compete in the Champions League at the business end of that competition, rather than simply hoping to make a few quid from qualifying as cannon fodder.

The Colts team could play in the SPFL and that would give supporters the chance to watch games in both leagues on pretty much a weekly basis with the away games in France obviously having restricted numbers. If Nice are playing Rennes that is a day's drive so their fans have to go through that anyway. You would imagine that plenty would want to have French jaunts a few times a season so you'd always have Celtic Fans there.

Been saying that for years now WC.
Celtic as a club are way to big for Scottish football and also believe alternatives are going to be in the offering in an ever changing European football market.
Of course running a second team in Scotland makes perfect sense as it would help grow the league with far better competition.
I don't believe France would be an option mind as I would say plans for a super European league are well in progress, so could we yet be involved?
Of course on current football ability that would be a no, but with the game such a huge marketing worldwide brand with our club possibly been one of the leading contenders as a world wide appeal to supporters then I wouldn't totally rule us out of being involved

Would rather we left the spfl/sfa on there arse along with the rest of them and take our colts with us the youths would be better served in europe than going up against cloggers here away games in france would be great

we can only hope but i don't see it happening in my lifetime the baggage of the animals across the city would put paid to that within the first year of competition the whole bowling club outlook by the teams / sfa and spfl is pathetic ,until there did away with or the rot rooted out there will never be a level playing field in Scotland

Anyone asked the French if they would like scores of manky degenerate hun supporters rampaging through their cities. Sacre bleu !!!!
One things for sure, the french fuzz, won’t be “escorting” them through the cities doing the bouncy whilst singing the billy boys, it will be batons oot, whilst crushing a few union jack waving zombie heads.....🤣

It would be interesting to see how well sevco would do in a league where the rules were applied fairly. We would only meet them in the cups I reckon. Our worldwide appeal would see us shoot to the top, gaining even more fans and signing quality players, on the way, while their zombie fans and toxic brand would see them fall down the leagues into obscurity. 😁. Bring it on
