Biting the hand which feeds them.

The celtic board don't care. At all. If some celtic fan with a laptop can work this shit out then isnt obvious that experienced business men, accountants and administrators can also work it out. The facts are celtic and "rangers", as our board would like them to be known, are partners. In order for our board members to make money they need their business partner to, well, exist. So if that means making their march to the title, and the riches that come with it, a bit easier, then so be it. The survival of the old firm monopoly is vital to their income. The celtic fans have shown over the last 10 years that we are weak. We will make banners and moan about it online but we won't actually do anything about it. From the 5 way agreement to our board calling us racist. To banning the green brigade while letting the scum fans in to sing vile songs about our legends. Having secret meetings with the referees association when it was so blatantly obvious that they were cheating that it just simply couldn't be ignored. We thought there would be change. Instead we got PL telling us there was constructive talks but not actually telling us what was said. Nothing changed on that front. We will piss and moan about the fixtures. The media will call us paranoid. The board will remain silent and we will move on to the next thing......The huns need to win the league this season. I'm concerned that OUR board will do everything in their power to make that happen.
I know that we weren't paranoid enough at times but...'The huns need to win the league this season. I'm concerned that OUR board will do everything in their power to make that happen.'

Celtic is a PLC, deliberately missing out on £40M is a large no-no for shareholders LLP.

It could well be exactly why they complain so loudly

If its rigged in their favour, and imo it is.

If media is rigged in their favour, and imo again it is.

Then constantly being antagonistic could be part of their overall strategy.

Coz if they were cosy with their helpers it would be even more obvious.

reverse psychology

The narcisist will always complain if its not 100 percent rigged in his favour

And anything less than 100 percent rigged is unfair to the narcissistic regime.

Its all part of the bias and keeping that bias working in their favour.

then throw a bone here and there when its irrelevant as proof its a fair system

95 honest mistakes in their favour

5 to you

to them thats 5 percent rigged against their fair
To the oppressor, equality feels like oppression.

How quick will Scotland fall down the pecking order of European football without the "old firm"???...how often do we hear or see massive matches from the Welsh or Irish leagues??? Celtic are a business that functions on regular income. Like any other company.. look at it this way. My boss owns an AC company. He has his yearly contracts that run like clockwork. He negotiates new terms every few years but he knows he's got a steady income....any extra jobs we do are a bonus. Extra money in the bank but the yearly contracts are how he budgets and plans....exact same with our board. They need sevco for a regular income. The don't budget in the European money....its a bonus.
No one cares when dembele scores 3 against Ross County...they do when he puts 3 past sevco...thats extra millions on his valuation. Player sales usually cover for European exits.....Celtic players performing against the huns is usually how they are noticed. If those games vanish so does the high sell on fees. Without sky showing "old firm" matches, players stop coming to Scotland. Our board need sevco.

Ofcourse that's just my opinion and I don't know how to run a business, if I did I wouldn't have a boss...I'd work for myself 🤣🤣 but that's how I view it...maybe I'm to paranoid 🤷‍♂️

Lubo - that is a very controversial viewpoint amongst Celtic fans. But that doesn't mean there isn't some truth in a lot of what you say. I think it is the stance that Lawwell and the board have taken - it is the "safer" better the devil you know whereby they want another half of the "old firm".

Personally I'd prefer we pushed the narrative of not being half of something and had enough faith in our own "brand" to be able to stand on our own feet as an important part of Scottish fitba!

But from a business perspective I can see why we go along with this bullshit (although I disagree with it) even if as a fan I detest it with everything about it.

I'd like to think we could move onto bigger and better things without the poison of sevco and ibrox destroying the game. I, for one, would celebrate the death of sevco and would support celtic like I always have. I also believe with their death we would eventually see the back of the dinosaurs and brown brogue wearers that run the scottish game. It could open the door to a new, modern, forward thinking sport in scotland that isn't dragged down by the "old firm"....it may take a few years but I believe something great could grow from the death of the scum.

The scum would just attach themselves to the likes of Hearts like a virus with no cure. Those racist bigots will never go away, they are defined by their hatred and racism and will always look for a window to the world to show it.

Then they'd be Edinburgh problem 🤣

I've no doubt the posh folk of Edinburgh and the politicians would be quick to ban the OO marches of there was 30 odd of them walking up towards the castle!! It's alright if it's in scummy Glasgow...different kettle of fish of they are disturbing the international students and tourists looking for a bit of culture!!!

I hear what you're saying pal and I'm also of the mind that they should have crushed them when they had the chance, as they would have done to us, but despite their obvious failings there is *NO* way even our board would want our immediate rivals to have a £40M advantage rather than us have it. It's just not realistic. That said I'm not a businessman either but I do work in accounts so I have the barest smidge of how it works. Or so I like to tell myself lol. :)

one last thing before I turn in, if there were no sevco then we would be absolutely cast iron guaranteed to the Europe money so our budget ould change accordingly, no?

I'd 100% agree with you....if our board weren't happy to start every European campaign with bloody Bitton starting at CB!! Doesn't scream "we want £40 million" to me. And the huns wouldn't have a £40 million advantage....that would probably help them break even and keep them alive....which I think our club wants. And we don't need to speculate if that's true. It happened!! 2010/11 was the year of the honest mistake. Rangers needed champs league to survive. Celtic board stayed quiet on the most corrupt season in scottish history and they got what they all wanted.....for a small while. Until they fucked it and got knocked out. And we all know what happened next....can't have that again!

I think you miss the point.
This is fixture fixing. Basically, cheating. Rigging fixtures in favour of one Club, and it's not just us, it's the other Clubs too. There is no way this is a coincidence. I assume our Board are aware of this, if not why not?
The writer is anonymous probably for his own safety. As the law seem to allow Sevco thugs away with murder, or at least GBH.
I hope our acting CEO is asking questions, or maybe Mr Anonymous was.
You'd be amazed...

Sigh... yeah I know, depressing isn't it?

Feck it! I've got some weed up the stair, gonna have a couple of doobies and try to forget about our defence...

Might need more than a couple...
