Brutality

We need our Board to call out the continual brutality our player are consistently subjected to.

We currently have a whole team injured and many of them due to thuggery.

The day is coming whereby players will no longer want to come to us as they will fear for their well being due to the lack of protection afforded to our players from the MIB

This has to change and the Club has a duty to demand that it does

For me this was a shocking tackle a real potential leg breaker and it sums up scottish football. Yes the player has the right to go for the ball and try and block Edouards shot but not with a karate style studs up lunge .it is such an obvious out of control dangerous tackle that it makes me wonder about Celtic and their thoughts on duty of care to their players by not calling this shocker out with the authorities. Are celtic prepared to wait until one of their players has their career finished by the dangerous tackles being allowed by the SFA employees who are meant to be there to officiate .

Well, we could take the opposite approach and make a complete mockery of the situation.

What am I on about?

Sign this guy to be our new CB. The first time he’s red carded for violent conduct, submit an appeal based on recent precedents. The SFA is officially on record that kicking an opponent off the ball is not a red card (technically, they rescinded a given red card), kicking someone in the jewels, stomping on someone’s back, grabbing an opponents testicles, and even head butts are all A-OK (again, this last one was originally a red card that the SFA rescinded). There’s not much left to violent conduct if those are all considered acceptable. Might as well play by the rules... :devilish:

High kicks and studs on were in my mind dangerous play.

Sure is different days .... well if you play against a specific team anyway.

Up the Celtic ☘️

christie and eddie all in one go , both equally as brutal yet nothing even that mutant goss got away with kicking anything in green ,you've got to wonder has Brendan warned our players not to get vocal with the refs

Also why has he said fk all since joining apart from they should be fulltime

That rips my knitting kelly. Club owe our players a duty of care.

The valuable assets that they are you would think we would have seen something from the club doing something about this?
When the club released the statement on Beaton ,they should never then have attended the meeting in Perth , the sfa were 2 steps ahead and have ripped the pish

Hats off to Stevie Clarke he smelt bullshit straight away but no our Brendan he goes away up to champions the MIB being made fulltime

So not only are we cheated and kicked up and down the parks everyweek but here lets give these fkrs a payrise and a fulltime job

Wonder if he will be vocal when Weah is on the end of a nasty challenge

100%. Its an embarrassing letdown for sure.

I have great respect for Brendans dignified manner, although I am at
a loss as to why he does not speak out about the most recent brutality
that his players are subjected to in almost every game.
PL should also be speaking out.
The current crop of Mib( they do not merit the name referees) are not
protecting the players, will it take a career ending injury before the blatant
thuggery is addressed.?
Time for the management and the board to make a stance,as the
SFA, will do what their initials really mean Sweet F. All.

Regarding yesterday’s game imo there’s 4 red card incidents 3 for them and 1 for us the Christie boot in ribs is red it’s assault the challenge on Eddie is red And then goss deliberate taking out of brown no intent to play ball professional foul is red Ajer for us only one giving surprise and three penalty incidents 2 100 per cent then Burke’s hard one but it is penalty var would give it then the rangers games best not discussed decisions two penalty’s against us at Aberdeen they’ll not get any on wed no matter how brutal they are when will brendan and the board do something ..

Shocking tackle - and in the background you can see Christie lying on the ground after being almost cut in two by a waist high tackle . Both incidents are penalties with a red card for violent conduct .

However the SFA has burnt its bridges on violent conduct this season with More-or-less ( regularly ) , McGregor ( the Sevco variety ) and Naismith all being given carte blanche to stamp , maim , cripple , decapitate etc ...

I have a feeling Brendan will be using these incidents to galvanise the squad. There may come a time the calm exterior falters but it would go against his nature..I want him concentrating onthe job on the park but I would like a club spokesperson standing up to the ongoing climate of brutality and honest mistakes.

Lemon i think Brendan will need to galvanise the players arms and legs to stop them gettimg broken.

Was I right in reading,Keevins made somewhat derogatory remarks about MIB,if so is he getting embarrassed about the current situation,?Stevie Clark is sticking his head above the parapet!.time the powers that be at Celtic ,backed him up, come on Lawwell show some fkn guts ,you are being paid enough!!stand up for this club, these sevco bad——s,are shouting from the rooftops ,AND getting away with it, come on the hoops,hh
