THE CINCH SCANDAL NO ONES TALKING ABOUT. NOT EVEN OUR BLOGGERS.

I've just watched the, therangers v St Johnstone game.
Ok it was on a stream from therangers TV. Now, we play in the Cinch Sponsored Scottish Premiership, and every team has to display Cinch logo's and Brand. Oh no. Not at Ibrox, BOXT, and many others are on display all around the pitch.
So my questions are,
Why are they getting away will this.
Will they pick up any money from Cinch for being 2nd (again) this Season? And I
IF so WHY?

The SPFL were very proud of themselves when they announced that all teams, apart from the huns, had to display their logo....Cinch could have easily walked away without paying a penny to anyone so I'd imagine all other teams in the league have had to take a hit on prize money. Cinch get their logo advertised and pay less than original contract, the scum get their way and everyone else loses out.....the bigger scandal is all other 11 clubs accepted it!!! The biggest scandal is that, instead of being hammered for risking the whole contract, the huns were rewarded!!! It's no wonder Scottish football can't attract decent sponsorship!! I have no doubt that the reason our cup doesn't have a sponsor is down to the fact no business trusts the scum or the SPFL to honour any contracts!!!

100% right Lubo.
So why are blogs no... sorry all teams in the spfl not highlighting this?
WC can you answer this.?

"the overall income to Scottish football is expected to remain materially unchanged over the original five-year term of the sponsorship"

Meaning, every other club in Scotland will have to work a bit harder to assure Cinch are happy with how much they are advertised at matches.

By the sounds of it, Cinch can decide if they are happy with the coverage they receive.

The scum just have to sit back and accept their prize money at the end of each season while doing fuck all for it.

All 11 clubs in Scotland have basically accepted to be the scums bitches....happily. Shame on the lot of them.

To be honest, none of this surprises me
They continue to thumb their noses at everyone, and get away with it
Scotland, a rule for them, and another one for the rest
No wonder they shout that they are the Peepo
More like the Untouchables
FTH

The scum make the rules up as they go along. They attack the SPFL, other managers, other players and the referees through their media outlets and club statements. There have been countless times when they could have been hammered for bringing the game into disrepute but nothing was done.
For some reason, other clubs seem terrified to stand up to them, including ours, and it has emboldened them.
Cinch could have withheld prize money quite easily. That might not mean much to Celtic, but for other clubs in Scotland, it could have killed them....and not one single chairman from any club or the SPFL board said a word. The scum were quite willing to bring Scottish football to its knees and it happened without a whimper....in fact, if I remember well, the media even supported their stand!!!

You would think if you where to sponsor a league that every team in the league would accept the conditions before it was signed off on.if it was signed by rangers then that's another contract broken by trfc .now if thier still holding thier hand out for the sponsorship money that's completely wrong not only are they taking cinch money who are supposed to be thier competitors of parks car firm but they are morally bankrupt as are the sfa for being jellyfish.

Cinch should have only agreed to give the prize money if sevco received £0. They could have given that share to foodbank charities instead which would have given them some wonderful publicity (which is the only reason they sponsor the league anyway).

I'd imagine the scum are still taking the money....they can't afford not to. I'm not sure when Parks took the hotseat at the top of the marble staircase but could it be that he wasn't the one who signed the Cinch deal? Then when he became chairmen he decided to break the contract. Not that it matters. The fact is, sevco, as a club broke the contract.
Cinch will have demanded a certain amount of advertisement and its up to the 11 other teams to fulfil those obligations. The SPFL will receive the prize money and they will reward it to each team....so sevco will receive their prize money for doing fuck all.

The duct tape over their logo at ibrokes actually got a bit of coverage online...which is hilarious really, in their effort not to advertise Cinch they actually did the opposite. Fucking idiots!!!

The sfa have failed miserably in this whole saga I'm sure they have rules I'm also sure they've been broken and not a word said or action taken. Thier making a rod for thier own back and a little bit more of thier sorry reputation has been flushed away.

Step up Michael Nicholson and at least publicly raise the issue. This needs to be clarified for all clubs. 'Sevco' may have a legal ground for doing what they are doing. I don't know. But if so, then in the interests of transparency and fairness, the SFA must clarify for all other clubs what that legal ground is, and how it affects other clubs. As this could have an impact on how clubs negotiate their own sponsorship deals in the future. We need to protect our own interests, not those of other entities. We all know the nature of previous secret, behind closed doors deals, conducted by the SFA and' Sevco'. They did not benefit Celtic in any way. Also I find it incredulous that Cinch are tolerating this behaviour from 'Sevco' and the SFA.

Ye are all forgetting one thing, rules are for Fenians. The rules do not apply to filthy sevvies. I am astounded Cinch put up with this. Fuck yer new team and yer kiddie-on League me n my Cinch pounds are oot o this fascist popsicle stand….is what the Cinch chairman should be saying to the SPL and SFA.

The Celtic board won't do anything at all. This deal has been rubber stamped by every club in the league and also Cinch.
As I said, and as the Sky article points out, the SPFL are very proud of themselves.
They managed to allow one club to renegade on a contract and somehow walked away thinking it was a good thing for Scottish football.
What company, in their right mind, would chose to get involved with Scottish football after that.
There's a reason we can't get a sponsor for their cup competition.
But fuck the rest of Scottish football as long as Sevco are happy.
Cinch get to bend the league over a barrel for the next 5 years.
11 clubs have to advertise like mad to make sure Cinch are happy and pay up.
The SPFL board are shown as weak and will struggle for a league sponsor when Cinch walk away.
Sevco get to rub it in everyone's faces and act like the winners of the whole saga. One winner in the whole situation and every single person involved in the Scottish Premiership allowed it to happen.

I'm still waiting for The Celtic Star, The Celtic Blog, CQN, or any the rest of them to make a public comment about this. Or indeed any of the other 11 clubs.
I'm going to say right now if therangers picks one pence in prize money from this season I'm gone, I've had it with the bent game in Scotland.

I hope he does Lubo. Because staying silent makes him no better than Lawell.
