Doubt I'm jumping the gun with this thread.... So who's Next???

Is it too soon for Broonie and big Mik to return as a partnership???

What about Harry Kewel??? Or Harry sorry Graham Potter?? 🤔

John Kennedy 😔😳.???

Neil Lennon 😳😳😳😲

Gordon Strachan 😳😳😳😳.

Or Docco's pal Brendan Rodgers 🤔🤔🤔.

Or is left field the favourite... Who in the City group is up and coming and looking to get a leg up for a big league??

Many questions and no answers.... Its what being a Celtic fan is about these days I'm afraid...

However no matter who it is I will be there come rain or shine... Well unless its Mourinho then I'm offski...

Give us your preferred choice folks.... For me its early yet for Broonie and Mik... So left field it is... But if you made me pick from the names above it would be..... Na I just can't type it... 😱 😱 😱

Hopefully another bullshiter , someone who grew up watching our games , had posters on the wall and was born a Celtic supporter

Someone we could put on a 1 yr rolling contract someone the fans can really get behind and give him the chance so when the big epl hoors come along he can sneak out the door without even a word

when he knew for weeks what the fk he was up to

I think Kennedy will be offered the job. Hope not but he's the cheap option and Lawwell is back calling the shots. Had a 10 game interview when Lennon left and only won 4 out of 10 games.
The alternative to Kennedy is a return to the City Group since that's where we got Ange from. The obvious choice would then be Kevin Muscat as he has followed Ange at Melbourne and Yokohama but his association with the old rangers will rule him out. Enzo Maresca, Pep's assistant was linked last time around so he may be considered again.
If the board want to show a bit more ambition then there are several good managers currently available, Graham Potter, Jesse Marsch, Ralph Hassenhutl to name a few.
Avoid at all costs, Moyes, Clarke, Lennon

Yea I got to thinking about Enzo after I posted my initial thoughts... Wouldn't be the worst choice to be honest...

Can see it being Rodgers didn’t like how he left but he’s a top manager I’d take him players and managers are just tradesmen plying their trade to whoever pays the most just like the rest of us,I left a place and later went back a couple of times it’s a Job not a crusade we shouldn’t expect any more from them and maybe there would be a bit less badge kissing and chest thumping if they didn’t think it was expected of them

Jessie Marsh would also be a very interesting appointment. he is an excellent manager and exciting and has already had his fingers burnt in England so not so likely to scuttle off on a Monday night.

I was discussing Rodgers with my pal at the weekend and both of us agreed that he would be good enough for us again, but I think he has too much baggage and too many fans dislike and distrust him intently to ever take him back at Celtic. Was Rodgers being photographed at Hampden for the semi-final DD & PL testing the water to see what reaction they got from the Celtic fanbase in case they wanted to bring him back if/when Ange left?

But Kjetil Knutsen with Broony as assistant manager would still be my Dream team at the moment (if Harry Kewell stays as part of the coaching team then all the better too, but every coach will want their own trusted choices around them I guess).

Whoever is our manager come August will get my full support - whether they were my preferred choice or not. I was very vocal in my desire for Eddie Howe to join us - and I still think he would have been excellent for us - but Ange brought something different which provided me with a lot of joy over the last 21 months. Howe would probably have been poached back to England before now anyway.

Managers seem to have a shelf-life of 3 years so I suppose he should get used to this turmoil on a semi-regular basis. Either we get rid of a manager because we are not successful enough or we lose a manager to a richer club because we are winning too many trophies. Maybe if we'd have lost the Cup semi final then Ange might have stayed to try to win a Treble next season - we will never know and frankly I am glad we won it.
