Wow... just wow. I had read the transcript directly from Killie’s website, but the text does not do the interview justice.
He’s probably going to get a ban from the SFA for his comments (“bringing the game into disrepute blah blah blah”). He should appeal it and make the SFA defend themselves. There is nothing in his comments tonight that is the least bit objectionable. The referee DID in fact decide the outcome by denying a stonewall penalty in the opening minutes and the red carding the Killie goalkeeper for raising his arms in the vicinity of Alfredo Morelos (who, it should be noted, went to ground like he had been hit by an RPG).
And calling out the home support at Ibrox for the sectarian abuse. Clearly that DOES bring the game into disrepute, but only because it actually occurs in the 21st century. His actual comments were rather restrained on that topic and he simply called it out in a very matter of fact way.
It’ll be really interesting to see how the SFA handle this. Whether or not the red card is rescinded; whether or not they acknowledge the penalty claim; whether they hit Morelos for simulation; and if they do all that, or even some of it, whether they charge Steve Clark over his comments. Also curious to see how long Muir is banished to the Championship as typically happens after these incidents (usually for a single match).

What a man ?????? You gotta feel for him tho and the sad thing is it's all true.
I'd like to think this could be a turning point, but on hearing what SC has just said, it's possible he won't hang around to long, which would a travesty for Scottish football.
The other thing is in my personal opinion he would be a leading candidate for a future Celtic manager, while on one hand it would be a job that a Celtic supporter would find hard to turn down, it sounds like he can do without the poisonous baggage that comes with being a Catholic who isn't afraid to call bigotry out in Scotland.
I hope this interview gets airplay outside Scotland, people need to hear what this man said last night, the Klan in Scotland really disgust me, we need to get ready to show our support on a personal level for Stevie Clarke because he's just kicked the Orange bees nest and I think we all know things are about to change for him.

I am so angry about that game last night . It was blatant cheating one of the worst cases I've seen .The SFA must act to restore confidence in our game or expect a fan backlash. I for one will not set foot in hampden till changes are made . Thank you Stevie Clarke for speaking out . It's harder for us normal fans to be heard . What's in store for the Dons next round . Wouldn't be surprised if they are planning their fate this weekend . Once again a disgrace.

There are a whole plethora of ex-Celts in prominent positions within the media who should be screaming blue and orange murder right now!
As you may all be aware, I've been an advocate for our current board (in lieu of a better alternative), but I would run through a brick wall for any one of them if they showed half the gumption and honesty of Steve Clarke.
The huns can gnash their fucking tooth all day and night, but not one of the dafties can pretend for long that that MAN called it absolutely and 100% correct.
I'd be fucking embarrassed if I supported a team that had to win that way, but these ingrates had the shame extracted at birth and replaced by the gormless and gullible chromosomes.

Steve Clarke is spot on, but he sounds like a man who's losing hope, of anything ever changing and who can blame him ?
I wouldn't be surprised, if he is off back down to England, or the continent, at the end of his contract

On Steve Clarke being the next Celtic manager.......I can’t see it happening.....the Celtic Board won’t appoint someone who is on record calling out the MIB’s the way he did......and I agree with the posters who think Steve Clarke is for the off......he’s just not going to put up with the constant cheating and the personal attacks....he will become another statistic in the corrupt, cheating and sectarian shithole that is Scottish Football.
As an aside.....I feel if he was the defensive coach at Celtic....one thing I firmly believe is.....we would be a much better European team for it.

Held him in high esteem before but this latest edition of speaking out has made me respect him even more. I agree with those who say that speaking out won't catch on with BR and that SC will probably end up going South for work again. It'll be a travesty to lose such a good manager because of the knuckle dragging, sectarian bigots from Ibrox who truly are stuck in the 17thC.

So the Celtic Board when are you going to be part of this because we the Celtic Family want help to fight the Totally corrupt way that Scottish Football is being run.
You state we don’t need Sevco, to Survive. But everything you do and don’t do on these issue proves otherwise. Your total dereliction of Duty to our Club and its fans is the Worst kind of Shame when you seem more interested in the blue £, than saving Scottish Football from the huns at the gate. Who would destroy decent men like SC.

Shocking last night but before we get all perched on the moral high ground we sang the exact same song to Boyd on Sunday. This is why I want us to cut out the singing of these types songs and the IRA stuff, we are put in the same bracket.
It will never happen though but if you read the reports they all quote us singing fat orange bastard. We have a problem being all indignat if we continue to give them ammunition to class us as the same. We aren’t the same, but we need to show that.
