RajvoSa, it is unfortunate that teams like FK Sarajevo, who won their league, have to go through such a tough qualification in the first place.

It's unfair that the big leagues have so many places in the main draw and clubs like FKS and Celtic have to fight so hard to qualify.

You are a credit to your club and the other FKS fans who sang and cheered your team for the whole game.

Whatever happens next week, I hope you continue to join us on The Celtic Noise and let us know how FKS are doing.

Yestarday, late at night, I was out in a bar with some friends after the game and about the midnight, we met some Bhoys and they were looking for a hotel or hostel for a night. I offered them them to stay at my place if they wanted to, for free of course. They accepted and stayed a night and then left early this morning. Cheers to Alan and Darren from Glasgow. I thought Sarajevo were better than expected. Well organised, pacey. Drilled to counter and punish.

Better than half the SPL sides. Great set of fans - tremendous memorial 'remember Screbrenica' banner for 11.7.95

Amusing 'shamrock' banner aimed at us.

Would love to see them take on the Huns in the Europa.

We are a little bit wild somethimes but in Sarajevo people like sport and now much about sports, so it is nuturaly that thay know much about Celtic from Henrik Larsen to this days and about Celtic fans. 45-50 000 fans against Aberdin or even St Miren and you also have 23 points more than the secund place club is respectful in any way. And behavior of yours fans is also. So everything happening that night in Sarajevo was deserved, we just pay some kind of respect for that. Sarajevo has Euro cup winer but in bascetball and we all know what kind of pride that deserve, you are champions of Europe but Celtic fans are also good boys. It is shame that champion of Skotland needs to play cvalifications rounds. Fuck that especialy for competition named CHAMPIONS league. Atalanta last year played beautiful socer but I think that thay never been champions of Italy in deed.

I have been very impressed by the kindness shown by the Sarajevo fans, passionate but also kind. I will keep an eye on your team more closely than before I knew a little about your club.

And I hope your club gets stronger over the years to become a big name in world football through hard work and sporting behaviours.

I have really enjoyed the Sarajevo fans who have contributed to this thread.

Amaillos, FKS will soon have the opportunity to play on a nice pitch in front of the Celtic fans.

I believe it will help your progress for this season and in future seasons. Like Sandman above, I think you have some very talented footballers who can still cause Celtic some problems in the return game.

As I mentioned previously, whatever the outcome of the tie - the honour and respect your team has gained will live long in our memories. Football should be about making new friends and it has been a pleasure to get to know the FKS fans who have joined us recently.

What Sarajevo has had to endure over the last 25-years is unimaginable to many of us. The spirit of your city lives on in the success of your football and basketball teams, but also in your people and your fans.

Never lose that pride and never give up hope!
