Is there a link between Dallas at UEFA, the SFA and Jozo being suspended

A 2 game suspension for a red card in a friendly game?

Was the red card initially reported to UEFA and then found its way to the SFA via Dallas?

Will this be another SFA precedent?

No. Jozo kicked a guy on top of the head and somehow the ref needed a video replay to see the obvious and send him off. He included it in his report, the Swiss FA then reported it our our lovely overlords in Hampden and they probably very happily suspended him.

Although unusual, it is not the first time a player has been suspended domestically for violent conduct in an international friendly. In this instance, I don't believe Dallas is the puppet master screwing us over (I may be wrong of course and I would never ever trust him or his fellow brethern). I think the lesson our players need to learn is don't kick someone in the head if you want to avoid a suspension.

It was a red card all day long and Jozo was stupid to even commit the foul in the 1st place. To be fair on the ref I dont think he wanted to issue a red, hence the booking, but was forced into it by VAR.
It will be interesting to find out who has the final say on the suspension. If UEFA have passed it on the the SPFL then its blatantly obvious what their motives are.

Unfortunately jozo made a stupid tackle in a friendly,!a few post mentioned the ref needing var ,when we all seen it ,we thought silly bugger, however ,I am not going to spit the dummy out over this , what if he gets injured in a c/l match and misses two games or whatever,??????? No point in losing the plot ,there are players there to cover ,to move about positions,we have players who can play in different positions ,conspiracies? Well we will have to watch and see as the season goes on ,hh

John Kennedy lost his playing career due to an injury in a friendly. Jozo's tackle was reckless in the extreme. VAR helped the referee reach the correct decision and the Swiss FA did the right thing in reporting it their counterparts in Scotland. Their motivations are always dubious but in this instance we should accept the two game ban and look to VAR being more our friend that foe in the future.

Exactly. If we throw the toys out the pram over this decision then it lessens the impact of our complaints when they genuinely shaft us (and we know they will).

While I think it's a bit much that a red card picked up in a friendly match translates to a 2 game suspension WC makes a good point with what happened to John Kennedy. Thems the rules and we have to take this one on the chin and it WAS a reckless challenge that could have done the guy some serious damage.

I wonder, though, why Ryan Jack didn't get a ban last year(?) for a red card in a friendly.

It's a fair point Neil, was unaware of this......maybe the Simunovic challenge was viewed as excessively reckless in comparison to Jack's challenge and therefore deemed more worthy of a ban or maybe it wasn't reported to the SFA by the opposition's FA who knows.

If it gets issued and deserved I don't have an issue not one, refs miss things. Theres no precident. There was a minor rule change I think start of last season. Could be wrong think I read something. The huns miked it and seen the gap and were fucking atrocious early last season. Had to of been direction. There's no way the discipline plummeted to that level without a back door rule wise. Cases ignored some acted upon and some ignored, backlash then charges of unsporting behaviour called in?
The sfa inadequate as always. The legal team of the huns couldn't sign competent financial deal to save a skin but they had that wee glich wrapped up.
