49ers v Celtic, Sunday 31st August, 12.30pm KO

I don't think Kasper has done much wrong so far this season. But I do think Sinisalo can do as well as him.

I understand Scales is not the most gifted player and he does have the odd brainfart. But at least he tries things to make a mistake. Nearly every other player simply lays off the ball backwards or sideways. CCV looks a shadow of the player he was 2 seasons ago.

Hatate has been poor too often this calendar year. He still has the ability to make a killer pass but the vast majority of his play has plummeted in quality. He would look world class in a YouTube highlights reel, but he is struggling.

Calmac is simply not able to dominate the way he did a couple of years ago. That is simply the ageing process finally catching up on him. But he is still a massive player for us so we should use him smarter and not expect him to belt about the pitch for 100 minutes every game 55 - 60 times every season like he has done for the last dozen years.

I don't believe these players have become poor. They are struggling for whatever reason so they need to rediscover their mojos to play as well as we know they can. Maybe it is injuries, age, fed up of the fitba they play week in week out, unhappiness with the system, personal issues or whatever.

But too many players have dropped off in form at the same time. They can still turn it on at times and play wonderful football so we know it is still in them. We can reinvigorate them but a clearly hacked off manager who is publicly being humiliated by his employers appears to not be the person able to do this.

it is sad and totally self-harming situation we are in, but we can still turn it round and have an exciting season. HH
Not a slight at big Kasper but players get stale sitting on the bench week in, week out, the passing around our six yard box gives me the heebie jeebies at times and we give teams the opportunity to hurt us in when we keep doing that
One play had me saying wtf ? When Kasper came about ten yards out of his box as the ball was clipped in but big Liam got to it before the Hun player

Got to say I'm in total agreement with everyone the game was drastic however the reality is simple.
4 games down and we are 6 points ahead of them. We have dropped 2 out of 12 points dropped while they have dropped 8 out of 12. Get whatever business needs to get done today the a fortnight until the next game to freshen it all up again.

Big Liam was our best player by a mile today, credit where it's due
The Bhoy has had his detractors, but never shied away from criticism, and always gives 100%
As for them not having a shot at goal, don't remember us troubling their keeper today
After watching that shambles today, I hope Sinisalo gets a start after the break, and the Bhoys sitting on the bench watching that performance, are chapping the manager's door tomorrow, asking why they're not getting on the park, as we're looking to bring in English Championship loanees
Mind-boggling for a club like ours

Big Liam reminds me of Roddy McDonald from days gone by

Don't get the abuse Scales gets to be honest. I also thought Rangers tried to target Tierney all game, think they got past him once who was blowing out his arse at the time. Tierney will slowly get into his Grove if he remains fit. Good passer.
McGregor needs a rest (just take a red card in the 90th minute big man).
Also don't think it has been mentioned at all. We looker completely jet lagged. I work all around the world and travel alot. I would have taken it out of them all. Glad it was never used as an excuse but it was obvious to me.

I like the look of Shin. Hold up play for a wee guy was great. Once he gets a goal he'll be up and running.

I couldn't agree more that the captain needs a rest. He's much too happy to play the ball backwards and sideways instead of orchestrating the forward play. He's reminding me now of Bonkers Bawwy.

Agree what you say about Scales he and Ralston put in a shift yesterday coping with the trip dive rolling they had to put up with during the game, Liam has made comment pointing out the amount of free kicks given to the other lot even when they dived they got a free kick the dive in the penalty box was a joke and he should have been booked not this ref he was to busy stopping Celtic from breaking by bringing them back for a foul when they were in control of the ball … this is not an excuse for the game yesterday just something that should not be over looked, every time Celtic got a corner it was offside or a foul a fore runner to the season I think

I emailed sky like a dafty complaining about having to switch channels at half time and not been able to watch second half on UHD
It annoyed me because the Man City games wasn’t even starting it was the build up
So I said my bill is the same price as someone in England and they treat Scottish football like shit etc
This was the response I got sent back
Wankers 😂
