See when you log in to a page and you get the very latest post right away, you've then got to swipe up to the start of that page and follow on down from there, the sequence of comments and replies? Why no initially show furthest back and finalise with latest comment?

Simple solution, spend more time on The Noise so you are up-to-date on threads and don't need to be reading from the beginning. Sure what else would you be at anyway.
