A transfer, clickbait, football news of any kind & in general just whats on your mind thread

That is the international break over with so hoping Palma's injury is not too serious. We are about to enter a crazy run of matches until the winter break. As I've said before, I'd prefer our Scottish clubs to play less league games in a season to give the players more rest so the fans quality rather than quantity. It might improve our clubs performances in Europe too if things are not so hectic.

Although many matches are at home, it is still a tricky run and we need to attack each game from the start:

This would be a game changer if implemented and be a benefit to our speedsters like Kyogo, Maeda, etc. But will it result in defences sitting even deeper against us than they currently do?

Has not this rule been chopped and changed over the years?
I remember i think, there was a time were the offside rule changed to benefit the attacker and encourage more attacking football.
That either happened or was spoken about implementing it.
What's going on now though is a joke that's made worse by the fact it's no longer new tech for officials to grapple with. They're still way off standards required and one of world footballs biggest events , the 2nd biggest is about to take place with officials who are unable to keep up with the tech, its a mis match , retraining people to use the tech when it would be easier to get young computer whizzkids up to speed on the game that's surely the way to go because that's what seems to be holding it back just now is, integration.
I'm positive any 12 -16 year old gamers would have every game running like clockwork as 2nd nature since the kids are often the target market they know about using the latest tech or would be the worlds best in a month of testing perhaps they should get some of our young minds involved, lots of different angles now working in the sports field but kids just see puzzles to fix.
Until the cleek that is the SFA and SPFL are broken up we lag behind.

Rubbing my eyes noo did I just see 3 celtic home games on bounce? No it's 2 ones out of sync Feyenoord game.

Some heavy coupoun busters the night, England, Albania, Northern Ireland, and San Marino who missed a 97th miute penalty to finish finish 2-2 with Finland with the last kick of the ball, of the game and of the tournament denying San Marino their first point of the campaign

That's a mighty penalty ( settle down huns) 10pts in the EPL is huge but Everton have the players to deal with it.
If Everton get -10pts, what do we think city and Chelsea will be looking at?
City's case took years to put together so it's no small matter.

City & Chelsea probably looking at Championship or Div One, Two or National League

You'd think so, and I'd even like to believe so but I don't TT.
At the very very worst case scenario both will be championship sides I think ( like what hapoened to juventus), but that's hardly punishment they should be demoted and a pts deduction in the championship -15pts to give the rest a chance for what chance realistically have Preston of finishing above city even with a 15pt cushion? Not much

I have my doubts as to whether that will happen either. Their owners will threaten to cripple the authorities contesting this in a long expensive legal dispute and there will be a threat that if they don't back down and administer a rap on the knuckles instead (what appears to be a large fine and a points deduction) then City & Chelsea will actively pursue setting up a super-duper league with the rest of the financially doped (and huge loss-making) clubs from around Europe and possibly the Gulf States.

That's something that does peak my interest bridie cos I don't think there's a true audience for it, might be wrong but around the festive season etc people want their derbies and local rivalries, how long would city fans like taking part in a super league where every other games ½way or more around the world?
Not many I'm guessing, supporters want to support their team, can't do that if this weeks away game is in front of 40,000 in Saudi and two weeks later away again this time to inter Beckham
