A transfer, clickbait, football news of any kind & in general just whats on your mind thread

You certain don't want a bear munching on your plums, Dill. You'd better get that repellent spray asap.
That bruin looks well fed, so my plums should be safe. We have coyotes in the field across the road, you don't see them during the day, but you can hear them howling at night. Georgia heard them and stood guard at the window ;-) When we lived in our old house a few years back, we were out walking our Beau at the park across the street from the house when out of the blue, a big coyote came strolling down towards the park. It didn't bother us, just kept walking, but Beau stood still guarding us, all the while keeping an eye on the coyote.. I called the local Muni and they told me to call the local dog shelter. I said "I'm letting you know so that you can put signs up warning people, I don't want to adopt the fucking thing". In any case, I did call the shelter, and the guy couldn't have sounded less interested. He said "They won't bother people, they are scavengers..." I said "There's kids in the park.." That guy has a job for life, sitting behind a desk doing fuck all, I bet. A few days later, a 3 year old was attacked in broad daylight, by...you guessed it, a coyote. You just never know with wildlife, especially when food is scarce. Stay safe, and watch out for raging bears, they are not happy after their Messiah turned them down for a return. HH

League cup semi final tickets out now...

Finally me and jnr get tickets together..
I assume you're one of the lucky one's with season tickets. Genuinely happy for you pal. What about the thousands( me included for 8 years now) on a waiting list?
2nd dibs?
The people who can't commit but always would want to attend if circumstances allow? (Perhaps work commitments? )
It's the guys outwith season ticket holders who are forgotten. We Want to be there. We're hardly given a chance yet be allowed on a fuckin ballot.
HH🍀🍀🍀

Even with a season ticket Stevie its difficult getting Hampden tickets..the problem here is the size of the stadium...And the amount of tickets sold for premium packages increases every time..

No easy answer as it stands, but at least folks with season tickets on the home cup scheme get the occasional perk....in my case its the first time in 3 seasons that I've managed to get 2 tickets side by side from Celtic for Hampden..

Seen that glazers could sell Man Utd with interest from rulers in Saudi Arabia etc and investment firms from Dubai etc etc etc
Just like Newcastle and Man City
Football is absolutely fucked and it’s all just money money money
Just like psg they would have never won champ league without Qatar
We need to stop football clubs getting bought with chairmen with unlimited resources as it’s not fair playing field
Liverpool don’t have same set up but spending 540 million is mental and I hope FFP is looked into and also Man City is still under spot light with 115 charges
Barcelona too a club that’s in mega debt was still allowed to sign players in very weird circumstances
Football will become unrecognisable soon
Also get that VAR to fuck as it’s a pain in ass

Fairness in football has been getting corrupted since the very earliest days. Clubs were poaching players with illicit payments when it was still supposed to be amateur. And then when the clubs forced through professionalism then it went crazy.

Mill owners would pay players to be employed in their factories even though they never set foot in them. Scottish players were hoovered up because we invented the passing game, which was known as "the Scottish game" for the next 50+ years.

It is probably not to wise to look too closely at Celtic's early years when it comes to a club using it’s financial muscle to get an advantage on the pitch.

I do agree that it is out of control these days, but no association is going to stop mega money from being ploughed into their sport. I still believe we are heading towards a super league of some sorts.

Liverpool were OK for FFP as they had smaller spends in the preceding years. Man City took the piss and should be punished but they can afford the best lawyers in the world so will get away with it.

I know mate your right and it’s probably been this way for years but it’s just got out of control
the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules allow clubs to lose up to £105m over three years if owners cover it so that helps teams in England too

The FFP rules are a piss take imho TB, when you have the sort of money that is going into the EPL, CL, and now the WCC as well its no surprise that clubs Like Barcelona. Man city or Chelsea and the rest aren't being punished properly for spending that money.
It's counter productive for UEFA to hammer clubs for using the money and at the same time they're raking it in.
