Trouble is every vinyl has to be in near mint condition or graded the sleeve ,the insert and the vinyl and wait for it ,,,,,if they're out the shop cellophine wrap that's affects the value ,though not every Record came vinyl wrapped till the later 80s-90s,if it's been played any noticeable scratchs

When i went through the stock i had and checked aginst ebay and other sites it looked a good earner but then when you take in listing fees,packaging and the horror stories of getting scammed ,paypal shafting you it wasn't really worth it
plus it's time consuming

out of the buyers listed as buying bulk well it never happened ,,,never turned up never returned calls

Richbhoy gave us a number from a dealer in private eye ,he's based in Leeds so travel up this way wouldn't be cost effective ,again would rather pick through them than buy bulk

Gumtree / facebook marketplace ,,,,,,,,full of fkwits and scammers had 2 so called dealers who contacted me on gumtree both only wanted to pick out the best and then wanted them for next to nothing

in the end one young fella came made an offer for the lot and went away with them got his sets of decks and gonna make some beats ,,,ay goin then mate crack on

glad to see the back of them if you have a collection and the patience then i would say use Discogs or Ebay youll earn some coin but it will be slow

Gumtree fine but you'll also be polluted by scammers ,avoid facebook marketplace it's fkwit central

as for the dealers who advertise buying bulk it must be a myth

Either way can you let me know who you sold to or and the contacts of who gave the offers as the wife has a pretty mixed collection of vinyl she wants rid of.
I'm not sure they are of great interest as a bit commercial but gonna get rid either way.

Fella Richybhoy posted gave 25p-50p for good condition 12" singles and 50p-£2.50 for albums but he's down in Leeds

The tommy fella gave similar but but 5p lower and you would need to have the stuff the kids are into and in mint condition

That's a huge difference from the odd record fair back in 1980.
I paid £5 a table back then and I'd imagine that they'll be around £25 to hire nowadays.

And I remember as an excellent musician.

Bernie Marsden, former Whitesnake guitarist and giant of blues-rock guitar, has died
