Not all are. There are some genuinely excellent journalists in American Sports, and a lot of them work at the Athletic. Nearly 100% of their content is behind a paywall, and they don’t have any advertisers. Yet they not only survive, but are expanding rapidly because their content is worth paying for.

And like I mentioned above, there is more information coming from ONE American reporter regarding the Gutman transfer than all the Scottish press put together. Why? Because the guy does his job and asks questions and then reports the answers without any spin or B.S.
