Another honest mistake

So much for a new approach to refereeing, VAR and potential penalty decisions. How can one have confidence in Willie Collum's tackling of any issue, when he has failed to tackle the most glaring issue with Scottish referees? This is the the problem of referees, together with their extended family, having allegiance and association with clubs. Nothing wrong with that. But to appoint those same referees to officiate in key capacities, at matches involving those same clubs, has a lot wrong with it. It is a scandal, and a conflict of interest, that would not be tolerated in any other profession. All properly regulated professions have professional standards and codes of ethics, that would exclude this as a possibility. If only, to protect their members. But obviously not in Scottish football. Until this is tackled, there will always be a putrid stink around Scottish football. Who is afraid of this reasonable, positive, progressive and professional change?

He did look offside to me as well. But VAR confirmed that this was not even checked or considered. They decided that Dob Robertson was correct that the goalie wiping out Kyogo was entirely fair and definitely not a foul!

Did the wee killie cunt that fouled Taylor and Scales in the 1st half get booked? Either one of those challenges could have been a booking. The late slide on Scales, definitely....but Don had a word. How many more did he get away with???

Exactly. Against sevco then they/we get booked for these first fouls which means you must drop the intensity against them. The foul to injure Palma was particularly nasty and possibly worthy of more than just a yellow. McInnes thought so and immediately pulled him off!!!

Willie Collum said that Baldyhead gave a great contribution at the meeting between him and the referees.
Now we know what it was, you don’t give penalties against the Huns. Plus you certainly don’t give penalties to Celtic.
At least last season, VAR would look at the incidents, now they’re not going to bother.😡

To me this is all very simple.

VAR has the definitive video and photographic evidence available to them, for them to decide what should be brought to the attention of the match referee, and what should not.

If they fail to effectively and responsibly do the jobs that they are well paid to do, they are either incompetent, or they are derelict in their duties.

On either account, given that there is clear evidence available, that officials have failed in their duties…they have to be held to account and relieved of their duties as a consequence. There has to be a deterrent to what we are regularly witnessing.

Until there is accountability and transparency here nothing will change.

This is why our Club has to demand that these officials are held to account, for their obvious inability, to responsibly perform the duties they are being well paid to facilitate…

The MIBs will be under huge pressure to play their part in preventing our march into the record books. We can expect to see many more of these type of cheating decisions. It is only a handful of matches into the new season, and we have already seen three glaring ones. Our board should be calling Wilie Collum out on this. But we know how that pans out.

STFU Timmy. How dare you question the all-powerful Dallas Junior on VAR?

You know, the unbiased Lanarkshire referee who's Grandfather was a high up loyal office bearer in the Orange Order. And his father had a long history of anti-Celtic refereeing decisions and when he was on the verge of being sacked from running Scottish referees for sending a bigoted email tried to blackmail his employers to call of the investigation against his abhorent behaviour by calling of the referee's strike in the fallout of his involvement in Dougiegate when he helped orchestrate cheating against Celtic.

A reminder tht Andrew Dallas once gifted sevco 4 penalties in the same match. 2 of these incidents took place outside the penalty box!
