And it now longer matters what arguments or points are put forward to mske it clesr that this was utter shite & deliberately misleading. They have latched onto this squirrel and for evermore this will be their "truth" - they were the innocent victims wrongly killed off (but somehow survived) and cheated against by Timmy who should be made to pay for their suffering!
 
Smacks of somebody getting their excuses ready......as in 'it's NOT Dave King's fault that the new club is soon to be deid club No.2 because look all their current woes can be traced right back to the actions of those horrible horrible bullies at HMRC'.

Nobody at Ibrox EVER takes responsibility for their own financial mismanagement, it's always somebody else's fault. Same shit, different club!

Sheriff James Irvine Smith, in his damages statement, ruled: "The said accident was due to the fault and negligence of the defenders, Rangers F.C.".[1] Smith found Rangers F.C. guilty on four counts in the case of the death of Charles Dougan, a 31-year-old boilermaker from Clydebank who died, as did 56 others, from traumatic asphyxia.
After hearing of a series of accidents on Stairway 13 including September 1961 when there were 70 people injured and two deaths, September 1967 when 11 people were taken to hospital, and January 1969 when 29 people were injured, Sheriff Irvine Smith stated,

So far as the evidence is concerned, the Board never so much as considered that it ought to apply its mind to the question of safety on that particular stairway [...] and would appear – I put it no higher – to have proceeded on the view that if the problem was ignored long enough it would eventually go away [...] Indeed it goes further than this because certain of their actions can only be interpreted as a deliberate and apparently successful attempt to deceive others that they were doing something, when in fact they were doing nothing.

Too true. Whipping your average hun into a frenzy with this perceived injustice. Just in time for the new club to go the same way as the old one and they’ll be looking for a new scapegoat. Nothing to do with dodgy Dave and Mr. Johnstone you see. What happens if someone gets a doing over because of the guff they print in the newspapers??
 
Isn’t it interesting.....when it suits them they’re deid.....as in sorry but that’s got nothing to do with us.....it’s the old club that’s responsible for any claims for compensation.....but when it comes to the titles they cheated to win they are the same club.....how would any responsibly minded person condone or agree with this rational.....lying, cheating and corruption is part of their DNA
