Arsenal Ripping The Pish

After yesterday's disclosure that Arsenal have matched Celtic's valuation of KT and bid £25 mill for our Bhoy's services it appears that their offer is not everything that it appeared to be

For a Club reportedly desperate for our LB it seems to me that they are treating Celtic and KT himself in a rather condescending manner

If the lad is worth £25 million just pay it and we can all move on If you can't afford it stop annoying us and unsettling our plsyer

According to reports Arsenal have £45 mill to spend on transfer targets this season so need to prioritise their wish list

Had they managed to overcome Chelsea in the Europa League Final they would have gained entry into Champion's League this season and opened up a whole new stream of revenue to themselves
The very fact that they couldn't manage to do that might beg the question.....

Why would KT want to join a Club so obviously in decline when in his career he has only known success. Let's face it Him joining Arsenal will not make them a Force again

Arsenal's problem along with so many English Clubs is that they think they are better than they actually are They regard Scottish Football in general and Celtic in particular as a bargain basement for talent where they can make derisory offers and Scottish Clubs will bite their hands off and accept their pityful offers and tug their forelocks as they humbly retreat

Oh how the Mighty Arsenal have gone into decline It's not so long ago that they were all conquering
Winning Titles and Cups at will through their boring brand of football They now want to try and get back to their position of yesteryear which is a reasonable enough concept to have
BUT NOT AT OUR EXPENSE!!!

We have the product albeit damaged at the minute but he'll heal We spent a lot of time energy and money making KT what he is today One of the top Full Backs in Europe who is one of the 1st names on the Team Sheet has captained both his Club and his Country is capable of scoring goals on the highest stages

Such commodities are rare and if you can unearth them they don't come cheap
You would have thought that Arsenal would have been delighted to be able to pick up a player of KT's quality for a song Compared to the £50 mill Man U are paying Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka who had played 42 games for his previous Club scoring 0 goals and not being a Full International yet but no They want to steal him from us and insult us and the player with Low Ball offers

Could KT crack it in the EPL? There's only 1 way to find out...... Pay the asking price in full and take the chance but having acquitted himself favourably in the CL I can't see why he couldn't

So Arsenal.... Pay up or shut up and if you can't pay up go and bother somebody else or come back when you can pay but by then it might just be a bit too late

There'sno doubt in my mind KT could hack it in any top tier division in Europe, he's every bit and more the player Robertson is imagine KT playing in a side surrounded by players of quality such as Liverpool have.
Would love to see that side, wearing the hoops and destroying all before them.

Nailed it perfectly Bill. They're probably thinking we would bite their hand off mate, maybe it's just as well we have money in the bank or we would maybe accepted a lower bid.
BTW, how's the recovery coming along?

Slowly but kind of surely mate

TBH I thought that my recovery would be a bit further advanced than it actually is?

Still I'll just have to take things as they come
